Whenever I watch Rust creators play with Wiljum it's like a mental reset. They become so much more calm and are excited to play rather than malding LMFAO. It's a real and insane effect.

@@Blooprint in regards to a tech tree free wipe, I can confirm 100% that no tech tree increases the value of items found for research, and makes roaming chaotic and engaging. Coming from console rust, it just recently got tech tree last year. The times before tech tree were brutal and magical for sure. Every step you took outside of the safety of your base was nerve wracking if you had anything valuable that you hadn't yet researched. The most mundane items, every armored door, stone high external, metal barricade, your first SAR, etc felt like gold when you couldn't just buy it off tech tree.

I've been called out as a scummy antagonist in a rust video a few years ago and had to stop playing with that steam account. Admittedly I did set up two turrets overlooking a spawn beach and roofcamped for like 2 hours straight every night but yknow, sometimes you just wanna be the bad guy.

You know what's wild? I have watched this dude's channel for like five or six years... I just played Rust for the first time a week ago. 😂 Honestly? I'm not doing half-bad. I'm convinced that watching him pop off has oozed into my being via osmosis or something. 😅 Either way, I'm grateful to him for pulling me into Rust- even if it did take me half a decade!
I mean it's not a secret. When I started playing Rocket League I was pretty ass. Then I started watching pro players like squishy muffins and copied some of his settings and playstyle and felt like I was way better mechanically. Same goes for Minecraft PvP and other games. A good way to get better is watching those who have already dedicated countless hours and know a lot of techniques etc.

wish I had the skills and time to play rust and have a story like this. 500 hours, hop on, play a wipe for a week, rage, uninstall, reinstall 6 months later for new updates. No one will see this as I'm a year late to most Bp's stuff; but Willjum was the first content creator I started watching play Rust. So for the longest time watching him play solo on so many 800-1,000+ player servers I thought that was kind of normal. But then every other content creator I watched playing solos was on like 250-500 pop servers. The lad's insane and I guess it's funny because of how "passive" he seems especially geeking over a base build as the main goal half the time. Love to see the more "aggressive" playstyle from you and Frost; it's a whole different way to play the game and also succeed

I just played Rust for the first time a week ago. 😂 Honestly? I'm not doing half-bad. I'm convinced that watching him pop off has oozed into my being via osmosis or something. 😅 Either way, I'm grateful to him for pulling me into Rust- even if it did take me half a decade!
I mean it's not a secret. When I started playing Rocket League I was pretty ass. Then I started watching pro players like squishy muffins and copied some of his settings and playstyle and felt like I was way better mechanically. Same goes for Minecraft PvP and other games. A good way to get better is watching those who have already dedicated countless hours and know a lot of techniques etc.

No one will see this as I'm a year late to most Bp's stuff; but Willjum was the first content creator I started watching play Rust. So for the longest time watching him play solo on so many 800-1,000+ player servers I thought that was kind of normal. But then every other content creator I watched playing solos was on like 250-500 pop servers. The lad's insane and I guess it's funny because of how "passive" he seems especially geeking over a base build as the main goal half the time. Love to see the more "aggressive" playstyle from you and Frost; it's a whole different way to play the game and also succeed
