I lost my dad 15th of last October. I'm certain that your dad was and is very proud of you. We're raised with the knowledge that it's going to be our responsibility to close down our parents lives and carry their memory and knowledge into the future. The most unnatural thing that can happen, is a parent having to bury a child. But the highest honor any parent can ever have, is to be buried by their children. It's a statement as to how successful a parent has been. There is no higher honor than to be welcomed into the arms of the lord after being buried by our children.
The family dynamics is very important for a farm . My family's farm is ran like yours . We own the equipment together but the land is owned by the individual we share the labor and fuel . I farm with my father uncle and 2 cousins altogether We farm 8000 acres and custom farm for landowners. We are currently running corn I'm running a johndeere 8370rt and graincart. We are waiting on trucks because the elevator line is long . Great video keep up the good work !

I wish that I or another member of the family had a movie camera back in the 1970’s to record it before we had sold it in 1981.
I believe we work hard but nothing like how it used to be done.
