Yes in this video it has been turned up to 100% however you do have to go in and make a modification on the board otherwise about 85% is the most That you will achieve
No need to modify the board for modulation adjustment....there is a service menu that will adjust carrier levels modulation etc....the erratic swr reading you see is a software glitch....the echo will act funky or stay in one setting when you try to adjust it...had this happen when they first came out and was in contact with president directly over several months....rather than fix the issue they replaced the radio....now the new radio has a faulty display and the same echo problem as before....president stopped communicating when I suggested they replace the 2nd one....the radio is decent as long as I don’t turn echo on and can live with a glitchy display....since president didn’t stand behind their product I’ve made some modifications to the board to get rid of the anemia....I’ll run it until it dies like the first one....if they can get the software bugs out of it I think it will be a nice radio
Sir 50 watts out the box is not anemic. I already did the 27 Mhz myself I also got to 100% modulation which is the only setting I changed the 'Dick' is the best deal in CB radio right now. I recommend this radio to anyone in the hobby.
@@rainmakerscustomsrainmaker8985 I used a piece of stainless steel guitar string and twisted it together very small and hardly noticeable without soldering unless you look right at it it's easy to overlook.
The President Richard has all the gimmicks found on high dollar $ "Export" jobs at a better cost I only changed the modulation to 210 factory was 175 maximum is 220, this alone will be getting 50 to 55 watts the 'Dick' is the best deal you will find go price a Stryker and you will see.
Hello mark... quick question. When you are checking the swr on the richard is it a must to let the whole 5 minute beep finish? Can you just check it for 1min or does it have to be the who l e 5 minute beep.??? Just been wondering about that(?)
I'm not sure I've never done this myself. However the output of the president richard after modification typically sues very well. By adding an r f x to the back of it, it may be too much for the external unit. Chances are you will Burn it up.
Hello Mark that pink cobra came today man I love it .
Exactly what I wanted that you very much
I like this cb radio Is there a way to turn the modulation up to 100 percent?

With the next one that I do I would be happy to show you how to do the modification for 27 MHz

What is the modification on the board to make the modulation louder I have one and it's way over modulated and sounds like crap
@@michaelricketts4743 You only need to set it up .

If it goes through the complete process, it is just testing all the primary functions of the radio..
My cobra showed 1.0 swr but the Richard gave me the same number as yours when I did the swr? I assumed it was 3.0?
Can you add a rfx95 to a president richard??????

Can you replace with more powerful Finals for added wattage????
@@DavidReyes-1970 I don't know that the circuit will allow for a change in finals. With everything being surface mounted
