Kenny came in at the end. Previously he had died and he was gone for a while, like an entire season. There he just came back like nothing happened. During this time the show tried experimenting with other dynamics and replaced Kenny with Tweek and Butter as the fourth kid in the squad.
"I just couldn’t let him live, he shocked Santa’s balls!" The humor from that moment is more valuable than gold. As far as that ending goes, Kenny was gone all of Season 6 with Matt and Trey at the time teasing viewers that Kenny may have actually permanently died from the Season 5 finale, "Kenny Dies". That was the best WHAM! moment since the Season 2 premiere of South Park where we got to watch a Terrance and Philip episode instead of the part 2 from Season 1's finale.
Jimmy is one of my favorite characters because he knows he's disabled and stutters and continues to troll everyone with it knowing they can't say shit about it 😂
The children *almost* made it from South Park, to the North Pole, to Iraq, and back to South Park - before Jimmy could sing the '12 Days of Christmas'.
yeah he was dead for almost a whole year.. before season 6 he would die in every episode and always inexplicably be back the following episode like nothing happened. Then he died in the episode Kenny Dies, and was gone for good, up until inexplicably showing back up in this episode. After that... he only died once in a while, I guess they figured that the joke was getting old at that point.
The Santa torture scene was a reference to the movie '3 Kings'. Where Mark Wahlberg's character gets captured and made to drink oil. Merry Christmas Dash.
@@davelovesdrums I think its definatly a reference to the "Three Kings" torture scene here, the dialog and the characters are so alike. They also use electricity as a method there.
True story, we were in Mosul(northern Iraq) about 2 hours from Turkey. There was a town in Kurdish territory called Duhok that we went to where they are Christians. Kurds are non traditional Muslim, for the most part, however, a decent portion like the town of Duhok are Christian. We were there around Christmas 05 and there was a Christmas tree.
How I would love to have been in the room when Trey and Matt came up with the idea of Jimmy singing the 12 Days of Christmas. They must have be laughing for ages.
One of my favorite side stories in an episode- Jimmy singing 12 Days of Christmas. It's so simple but dead ass hilarious. And when they choose to switch back to that scene from the main story is perfect.
Wellllll, Iraq is home to some of us early Christians and Christmas in many places still in Iraq are celebrated with Christians and Muslims together, it's pretty beautiful and merry.
Iraq is mostly Muslim but there are Christians. They are often victims of violence. I think I remember a terrorist attack on a church in Iraq on Christmas Eve a few years ago.
I love the amount of effort you put into these reaction videos man, asking questions and engaging the audience, editing a bunch of extra stuff for added effect, love your reactions man, Merry Christmas!!
Holy shit I never realised that by Jesus sacrificing himself in the third act: Kenny (who had been dead for a year) was finally reborn and brought back from the dead 😳 Mind blown 😂😂😂😂😂
You just witnessed Kenny return after missing the whole 6th season!!! It was because they got tired of killing him off every episode so they just got rid of him “for good!” It only lasted for season 6 though. That was his epic return! 😂 It did henceforth mark the end of them killing him off in nearly every episode, as they had prior. Thanks again Dash. Happy Hollidays!

Seeing my daughter would make my Christmas, she turned 1 in September but I've not seen her since April. No gift would top seeing her... Merry Christmas everyone
MERRY CHRISTMAS SIR! Your South Park videos have became the First thing I check RUclips for each day to see if there is a new episode. Luckily for all of us there are over 300 episodes and maybe only around 30 duds. Watching this makes me REALLY look forward to Easter and the 'Fantastic Easter Special' episode.
Was walking my dog this morning, randomly thinking of South Park. As it's almost Christmas, I thought of this episode and literally went in my head, 'has Dash seen Red Sleigh Down? I don't think so, bet he'd like it.' What a coincidence!
I started watching these because of South Park, but the more I watch the more I appreciate you as a personality. Keep doing what you do and I'll keep watching 👍🏻
Merry Christmas Dash! Great reaction bro, your insights on these South Park episodes are always right on target. (Pun intended) They did a few callbacks to prior episodes like the Underpants Gnomes and of course everyone's favorite Xmas icon, Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo. Both are must watch episodes, as well as all the episodes where Jesus is a prominent character too. Along with South Park, my fave Xmas cartoons are the Futurama Holiday Specials and American Dad also. I hope you stay warm and cozy this Holiday Season and Have a Happy New Year too!
The best christmas gifts I've gotten in the past 3 years have all been gardening related... I'm officially old. I literally was happy to open a bottle of quality liquid fertilizer for my overwintering plants xD And a 75' hose... WITH watering attachments! Last year I got a greenhouse and lights for my indoor tents. Weed growing tents but not for Weed... bay leaves, oregano... my papaya tree, couple pepper plants and an Eggplant... Nothing out of the ordinary for indoor gardening :D
Dash, you said it before on how South Park gets you laugh at things you shouldn't. Jimmy singing 12 Days Of Christmas is classic laugh at things you shouldn't in a Holiday Special, lmao.
While it's still Christmas, i recommemd checking out both versions of the short videos The Spirit of Christmas from 1992 and 1995, before South Park aired on TV. Happy holidays, Dash. Cool reaction content, too! Or as Cartman would say "Kewl!"
The whole segment with the interrogator (including forced drinking of crude oil) is takenfrom/inspired by a film called Three Kings with George Clooney, Ice Cube, Mark Wahlberg etc... Set in the immediate aftermath of the Gulf War.
Your reactions have helped me get over rough times like being laid off and a breakup, Thanks dash You are the best reactor with insightful comments and are really funny! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Sorry about the bad turns in your life. Same with You Tube shows helping one though the dark times. I've been in poor health for over 20 years and fell about 6 months ago which destroyed my knee. I haven't been able to walk since but still feel good inside due to a lot of little things like Dashs videos!
Yayy, was hoping for a Christmas episode reaction! 😁 Love this one. All the Mr Hankey Christmas episodes are classics, along with Merry Christmas charlie manson. Maybe you could check those out next holiday season. Merry Christmas Dash! 🎄☃️ Oh and my perfect gift would be peace on earth...or hitting the Powerball 🙃
When Cartman says "Christ" making the boys think of Jesus as a backup plan is actually a reference to the first ever TV appearance of South Park as a short in 1992 called Jesus VS Frosty as Stan berates Kyle for putting the hat on Frosty and bringing a killer snowman to life as Kyle says "Christ" making them both think of Jesus (in this short, Cartman's name is Kenny, as he and the hooded Kenny both die in this short)
The underpants are first introduced in an episode called " Gnomes" s2e17 This is one of my personal favorite oldies and it's also Tweek's debut episode. Highly recommend.
My fav Christmas song since my childhood is 'Merry Christmas Everybody' by Slade. Its not Christmas until I hear this song play. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

As for that one gift: I used to always have one thing when I was younger that was the shiny golden egg I’d be hoping to get- but these years i’m more interested in getting gifts for my family and seeing their reaction!

I would like to point out that the torture scene is a spoof of 3 Kings, a 1999 film from the first Iraq war.
Oh, man, Jimmy singing the 12 Days of Christmas is so brilliant. It’s such a simple concept, but it gets me every time.

Thank you! Merry Christmas 🎄
That episode is awesome and teaches you everything you need to know about business
a simpler episode, for a simpler south park
I'd jump out of bed if I knew I was getting a shotgun for Christmas

The amount of references that South Park, pulls from movies to makes their episodes, will always be funny and genius.
