With the VMCAS application season around the corner, I thought I would share the personal statement I wrote for the previous cycle. I am a first time applicant who was accepted to Davis, Colorado and Washington. When I was applying it was so hard to find example essays, so I hope this helps anyone who is looking for inspiration. DISCLAIMER: I was accepted to veterinary school, but it does not mean it is because of this essay. I have no idea how admissions committees viewed my essays. For all I know, it could have been the weakest point of my application. In other words, it is important that your essay is still true to you. Do not write yours with my essay in mind. This is a video solely to give inspiration to others. This is NOT a guide to the perfect statement!
