My yard looks so amazing with my fall festive scarecrow, wearing his straw hat adorned with an acorn, surrounded by leaves, next to my pumpkin, wearing a sunflower on its stem. Sitting on my porch in my rocking chair, drinking my coffee and enjoying the weather. Nugs and JOY!

@@justanotherstitch I pray the hurricane did not touch down. We have talked so I know you are safe. I found some plastic rings that I plan to use on future sensory crochet children's blocks and I found a pack of dowel rods for future wall hangings.
I used to do thrifting a lot - I now don't walk so it does not happen - maybe someday - I should find an acorn pattern and add one to my fall decorations - but first I want to make a pumpkin - have a great day

Connie I'm so happy that the hard times are getting much better for yourself and Frank. I know I missed you! I dread the Fall for only one reason, acorn dropping from oak tree. Last year I almost fell. They are like ice when they gather up. Kids are constantly raking and sweeping them from the front walkway. But, I do still love me some fall weather. ❤

Hey, Connie! I love thrift stores and yard sales, too. My son is in the military and was stationed in Belle Chasse a few years ago. He an his wife loved it there. We are all hoping to move back when he picks his next duty station. I am hoping we have an acorn tree in our yard. Wishing you an amazing day!!!

I have a couple of Oak trees in my back yard. Every other year it's over loaded with acorns and the squirrels 🐿️ love them. They bury them everywhere and new trees come up. I'm loving All your videos. Have a great day. Olala ❤

I’m glad you are feeling better and not struggling financially. My next project is a fall gnome with an acorn on top of his hat and a bunch of leaves. I like thrifting! Last weekend I got a bag of Berroco yarn at least 8 skeins for $3.99!

Hey Connie! I am new to your channel. I just started crocheting about a month ago and am in love with it. I have fallen in love with yarn and how much it ispires me to make new projects. I have been begging friends and family to yarn bomb me but no one has yet lol. Hopefully someone does. Acorns are awesome btw!
Hi Kelly. Welcome to my channel. I hope you are enjoying my videos. If you have any questions about my channel, just ask. You can do so much with crochet. I'd love to hear more about your crochet journey as you learn more. If you can chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and slip stitch, you can make anything. My advice to crochet, is to dive into things. I find that is the best way to learn. If you have questions to do with crochet, just ask. Hope you are having a fabulous day.
I am working on my first shawl that is just double crochet and chain 2 or 3 at various places. I am also doing an amigurumi pumpkin. I got sucked into amigurumi and just love all the cute things you can do.

Congratulations on the disability approval. First time is pretty much unheard of. Some don't realize the toll financial stress can have on a person and I'm glad things are better for you. A squirrel family in a nest full of acorns would be a cute project. I bet you could whip one up in no time.
