I love your tip around personalizing the elopement package. I hadn’t thought about hiring my photographer for any of the activities post ceremony (i.e. dinner, excursion), but am now considering it. Thanks for this helpful video!
@@RochelleCheever I did want to ask a general question around tipping etiquette. If I end up using an elopement package with set vendors, is it customary to extend a tip on top of my elopement package fee? I also recognize that tipping is not customary in many countries (I am from the US where tipping is out of control and very much expected). Thank you for your insight!
My boyfriend and I decided to elope, and so far we are loving the planning aspect We're planning a fall wedding in a national park I'm planning on making my wedding dress, and I'm just so excited because we can enjoy nature while getting photos, have a nice intimate ceremony and then have a nice small camping honeymoon or go to the closest town to explore The location we picked is Olympic national park, there is just so much beauty and plenty of variety that we won't be short on photo opportunities Looking into permits and just need to figure out photographers and an officiant
That’s cool! Me and my fiancé are eloping in a National park at the peak of a summit. We are also enjoying this process bc it’s intimate and peaceful. Congrats!
Very thorough! Loved the tip about not choosing a cookie cutter package, instead make the entire day your own, special to you. Such a timely video this year.
I'm happy you liked it. You picked the most important element of eloping! Thank is such a lovely comment - I truly appreciate you taking the time and leaving your message.
My future brother in law eloped with his now wife (and my maid of honour). His parents got a phone call at midnight to say they were married - she's from Canada so niether parents were there, but honestly it sounds so romantic ♥ my own wedding is put on hold (thanks 2020) and we're planning a registry office wedding and the big party next year. This was super helpful!
Being a photographer, I liked the tips to do with communicating with your photographer! But the whole video is so helpful and funnily enough I've also very recently been talking about how weddings/elopements can still be very special even if you are on a budget.
How interesting. Yes, eloping isn't really new but nowadays its done differently and more intentionally. It's definitely the most romantic way to get married:)
My bf and I are wanting to get married ASAP but my Mom wants us to wait for another year and a half. I'm thinking we might just elope. We're just ready to be committed forever.
Do what makes the both of you happy. Our family would have loved to come but it’s us and we are loving elopement. Your family will understand if they love you. Good luck!
My partner and I are doing the opposite of all of this. Sounds like we are getting married next month in the place he’s stationed and we aren’t spending a ton of money! Who cares! I get to marry my best friend
There's no right or wrong way to celebrate your elopement wedding. Some couples like to keep things low-key, while others use the occasion to splash out on a luxurious getaway. Ultimately, it's up to you and your partner to decide what will make the day special. Wishing you the very best!
Yes, that is also an option. That’s the beauty of eloping. You choose to live the day your way, where you want to be and doing what you prefer to do. Some courthouses are very beautiful.
Which tip was your favorite?
I’m going
@@emalee-the-elevated Yes, for eloping it makes a difference.

What if we just don’t want to have a venue? Can we just elope at the courthouse
