@@createdbywayne I’m new to this whole video and content creation. I recently launched my RUclips channel to showcase my music projects, and I am currently composing symphony orchestra covers for popular music from my country. Being music videos, there really isn’t a live video or anything like that, I just come up with different ideas for each one. My workflow is a combination of slides from Keynote and Canva, screen recordings from QuickTime, and the whole thing put together in iMovie. Now I’m considering just making it all on Canva as I realize more and more how powerful and easy and cool it is. What would you say about changing my workflow to Canva instead of those other tools?
@@zoaltamam Honestly I would try it out in Canva. BUT, Canva has its limitations in terms of video. There are file-size limitations and I personally think it's better designed for short-form video. But it's getting better all the time. Have you experimented with CapCut at all?
You make it look possible for those of us who have trouble putting it all together and being happy with what we have created. Your explanations are inspiring and teach us the possibilities that are out there with Canva. Thank you.
The walkthrough of the editing interface alone was worth the like. As a non-editor dipping their toes into videomaking, I found that particularly helpful. I also appreciate the transition and animation explanation, but the knowing the interface helps a LOT.
The best RUclips video I've seen in my life. The way you are talking goes straight to my heart, and you explained everything very politely and understandably. Hats off to you! 😍😍😍😍

Thanks again Wayne for a really enlightening video. I sell on Etsy and have a short video for each product in my store done in Canva. The match and move tool will be added to future video creations. Really appreciate you breaking down the process and tools you used to make the video. Great job!

Great Video Wayne - just wanted to know what frame are you using to get the video to fit inside and centred in the phone mockup? I've tested with several sizes and frames but I'm unable to get it all to fit in and centred and without having the black space top and bottom when I resize the video? Otherwise great job!
I know what you mean! I honestly don't know if there was a particular frame 🤣. But now that we are able to round corners on any frame in Canva it should make it a little easier. I do often 'cheat' tho, and add a background shape with a dark color (or somethig similar) to make it fit.
The 'match & move' transition can be used with a free account, so just have fun and experiment with the elements and images that are available to you, and see what you can create! 😁
Hi Wayne, How on earth do you get the purple/show timing layer to extend across the transition at 3:41? When I attempt to drag the end of the clip across the transition, it just stops at the end of the clip below it. Thanks.
Hey Matt! It doesn't REALLY extend across the transition. Basically when you add a transition, if you set a long duration for the transition itself, any layers you have in the timeline above that can be extended to the end of the TRANSITION. So it looks like it crosses two other clips, but it doesn't really. If you look at 3:41 in the video you'll see the end of the purple content layer lines up with where the purple of the transition on the bottom clips ends. Hope that makes sense.
Can this be done with a midjourney images that has been animated in a video? The character moves but having trouble with back ground items moving like smoke or clouds for example.
I'm afraid I don't really use midjourney, so not sure I'm the best person t advise on that. But you could maybe use animated cloud elements over the character video to create the effect of movement?
Hi Love Your Videos because you very clearly explain everything you are doing but what I am after, is what I would call the 'Car Turn Table' effect Where I could have a Photo of my Car Spinning Round just like you very often see on Turn Tables in Car dealers Show Rooms, so please do you know a way that this could be done If so could I do this with just one Photo or would it be better by using Multiple Photos, as I want to do a sort of 'Walk Round Video' with or without the use of a Gimbal Liked and Subscribed and hoping you can help
In general that would require having a 3d model of the car, but if you filmed a walk around of the car (like you said, with a gimbal maybe) you could just add that into a frame just as you would any video. You could try removing the background, but unless it s very simple background that may not look great. Does that make sense? Or you could just have a gallery of images that move around the car and animated in one by one like a stop motion walk around?
@@createdbywayne Hi Wayne Thanks for replying and that's a 'Great Idea!' as Canva do the rotational Catherine Wheel effect So having a series of images Rotate around your Car might work quite well I've been onto them for ages to do a Side View Rotation but sadly they have not got around to doing that yet so I might have to have a look at an AI option Also I really love your idea of pulling put things like images into a Video Time Line that can be Copy and Pasted later into any project, as Canva often drives me Crazy with having to find Stuff

Hi Nina - it would depend on what it is exactly. You can add multiple layers of video, so a transparent overlay or effects can just be put over the existing video. But Canva doesn't allow you to export video with a transparent background (yet).
@@createdbywayne I wanted to add a little bit of effect on my videos to make them extra magical, like white stars flying across, or white energy waves expanding from the centre outwards.
Can you please help me?I have problem with text.I would like to do that every word could fly away off the page using match and move transition.I rotate every word and It doesn't work😢
It's probably because you have to have the text box a LITTLE still on the page for match and move to know to make a move between the two positions. So on your second page, have the text box move off so the text isn't showing, but make sure the box is actually still on the page a little.
