📝Basic information:
About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

I wish Kasia had leaned on to the water with the camera, because those bushes on the left were making me crazy! 😂 I found myself leaning to the right in order to see…🤪🤪🤪 and I spilled my coffee cup. 😅 I’m sitting here freezing, refusing to turn on the heating system and admitting the nice weather is really finished this year! 😵💫 We had an unusual mild September, until few days ago at 29c, now at 7 degrees. Guten Morgen. Ja, wir haben etwa 140.000 Biber im Unternehmen, daher haben wir auch eine riesige Anzahl von Biberdämmen. Und wir entfernen nur die, die uns am meisten stören.

Great job. Would be nice for a sma;; explanation of why the downstream outflow side is backed up or slow to drain.....
Below that was another dam that I didn't have on the job to remove. Therefore, first I did what I had to do, and only after receiving another order I started demolishing the dam below (episode no. 69).
In general, you cannot remove beaver dams without a permit - doing so can result in high fines and even imprisonment.
So I also have to follow these rules.
