This game really had everything. Fun tracks, good playability and handling, out of the ordinary vehicles, various customisation options, a long Festival mode that made the game's life duration longer without becoming a bore-fest, actual difficulty (I remember trying again a few races more th 10 times before winning). And the SOUNDTRACK. Not many games can brag about featuring artists like The Hives, Pendulum, Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers or Bullet For My Valentine.
The reason this game was challenging, was because not only did it have hard tracks, but during the events, you could only have a specific vehicle FOR that race against the others which I thought was extremely unique. Sometimes you had to use a Motorcycle against the Snowcats, or a ATV against Cars, now THAT i loved, but MAN was it frustrating half the time. Still absolutely enjoyed this game, and beat it many times. Wish I had my PSP again, Ahhh the memories, Playing Gran Turismo or Dragon Ball Z: Tenckachi Tag Team.
Seriously thing about buying a psp again, games like this one make me feel so nostalgic and remind me of how good life was when I was young, this game, rachet and clank, little big planet, secret agent clank, god of war and loads more

to get past loading you need version 1.5.4 of ppsspp its on the website they added a feature in 1.6 that breaks motorstorm and they decided not to fix it and keep the new feature
on 1.6.3 this game runs perfectly for me. With these hacks it makes the game sooo much better! Without the hacks the game still runs perfectly, just no sound and broken shadows :(

1. No, it's not too fast. Change the video's resolution to 480p and the motion will look the same as it does on a real psp, at 30fps.

This is clearly 60 FPS and not original PSP 30 FPS. Obviously a combination of hacks, aswell as this game resolution is anything but 480p ;).
