During the 964-generation of 911, Porsche built some pretty amazing things because the company was desperate for money. Though this isn't one of those insane special wishes projects, it sure looks like it. Manny drives this Mint Green 1992 911 Carrera RS Clubsport (street legal from new in some countries) on a local backroad, when it what it really wants is the race track. Find out what Manny thinks.

Appreciate the realism of the review. 10 under behind a 7 seater gives you a real sense of the modern driving experience.

I have owned a 964 RS NGT for 8 years now and drive it all the time. One road trip was from south FL to NC and it was just a fantastic experience. It’s a stiff ride, but when you get up to speed on the highway it cruises really nice. The cabin is alittle louder than my regular RS, but this is smiles per miles. If you can afford to keep one in your stable you need to get one. A race car for the street with no race car maintenance costs. A true winner and for those that know these cars you will agree. It is really special.

Thank you for this video. This RS is nice. I have heard definitely not a road car to go take a cruise with but I’m very sure you definitely gonna still have a bunch of fun with this car. I hope this makes sense because I’m talking into my phonebecause I don’t feel like typing but thank you for this video this Porsche is nice. This is your subscriber from Los Angeles, but over here on the big island of Hawaii.

Well that's a Porsche you don't see everyday. Great review, I think you were generous with the road trip score:) The roll bar welds might be some of the ugliest welds I've seen on a Porsche.

My thoughts exactly! Those are some horrible looking welds!

They don't look like the welds on my Clubsport / N-GT 964 cage from the Porsche factory, the welds are as you would expect from Porsche!!!

Daily driver... No. 😂 Manny is such a lucky guy to be able to drive such amazing vehicles! I've always wanted to experience driving one of these or the "regular" RS... especially with the manual steering. Does it it have power assisted brakes?

Other than the removal of sound deadening and roll cage -- what is difference between that and the RS? I thought they were the exact same?

Are those recaro profi spg and is it factory? If it was mine I’d find any reason to daily drive

Nice car, wow totally not streetable, cage, stiff suspension, harness make it more a track toy. But @ these prices, can't track it either unless "money ain't a thang" one said in song... love the colour

US car people beating up the prices of these cars. Here in Europe nobody got excited back then by these models to pay such an extra amount compairing to the regular examples. There wasn’t really much differences in the prices like now. Perfect example is the guy who is running a luxury car dealership in Miami (curated tv) something like that. He drove a yellow 993 gemballa biturbo extremo in Miami what was in Germany originally and was listed here for around 300k euro. Literally nobody wanted the car then he or somebody came from the States and took the car and claiming it’s a $2 million car. That’s how the things are going and because of that Europian sellers putting an average €300k price tag onto these cars now.
