Call the HAltech guys in Sydney Australia and ask for Scott aka tuning fork. he loves his evos and has tuned a more than most.. second opinion and all that
So I have an evo9 with the elite 2500. Been battling trigger issues for over a year now. Started happening out of the blue. Plug the stock ecu everything is fine. I added a shielded wire, redid the harness, and installed a jiggle 12 tooth trigger per haltech. All didn’t solve it. Your best bet is to put a condition under the home signal for 2k rpm and 100% throttle and it will solve your issues. Not the ideal solution as everything else mechanically needs to be in order but it’s what I’ve been doing. I’ve spent countless of hours on the phone with haltech and basically was told it’s how your engine is with this ecu just run the condition

Take a piece of plexiglass and trim it to fit the back part of the glovebox, velcro it in place. That way you.can pull it off to access it and put it back to store things and not see it. Just an idea.
Mate just use PCBWAY and get them to 3d print a Part out of ABS that looks like a channel with a rim all around and bond it with epoxy. Make it the perfect size of the rear panel. Ask if they can put a fuzz layer on the outside.
I go from a rusty s13 video to a leaking old AE86 video and now a beautiful Evo 8 video with trigger errors. It’s that kind of a week for everyone I guess. I like the glove box trim that shows the haltech. A little carbon trim around the edges and a led strip that turns on to light it up when opened to show it off.
Very excited for the merch drop that hoodie is mad clean. Glove box looks great in my opinion just a couple more tweaks overall and that Evo is ready to rip keep up the grind bro
Can someone help me with this issue I’m having … I have a 21 fk8 with catless dp injen intercooler injen intake . I uploaded the phearable stage two tune with a flash pro of course.. followed the steps to a T … and after a while I keep getting a p2196 code … it’s driving me nuts bc I didn’t have it till I loaded the tune … could an 02sensor went bad on me driving it without a tune or something… f my life
@@8145dwerdna possibly or potential dirty signal from jumper harness? I am running 2500 on my evo 9 (not fully tuned yet) but base tune is not having this issue as of yet.
@@woodzy575 smeedia still has the issue, none of these guys know how to set up arming voltages correctly. On my personal car i had the same issue when i switched from a link pnp to a haltech 1500. Takes about 15 minutes to do correctly.

for the glovebox put a net at the back so nothing falls behind the glovebox. hope this is helpful.

All I had was trigger errors with my haltech elite 2500, so it went in the bin and I replaced it with a EMtron KV8 and never looked back 😎
Now you can turn that glovebox into an amp rack and do a sound system for the 8 🔊🔊
That rattle you’re hearing has been said to be the rear differential pinion bearing.
you need to scope the triggers at various rpms and set arming voltages correct.
Could you make a little Alcantara / velcro flap for the inside of the glovebox? Would clean it up a bit

The GLOVE BOX, could you heat ONLY the backing and bend it inwards? that might work so you don't have to cut it.
For the glove box why dont you plastic weld a cut out cover so it is just a space for the ecu to sit, 🤔
Why didn’t you want to roll the rear wheels inward and fix the negative camber?
You could have used a heat gun to warm up the plastic and push it in a bit to retain the entire pocket of the glove box.

That noise you are getting is probably from those stiff bushings you put in causing to transmit all the drivetrain vibration.

Proper way is to use a heat gun while you roll so the paint won't crack

Smeedia was fighting the same problem on his Subaru. I think he swapped the sensors for hall-effect on the crank and cam. That solved it
