While traveling through all 50 states we had the question, "where is the cheapest place to buy land? Where is the best place to buy land right now?"
We set some goals a couple years ago thinking we wouldn't reach them for a long time, but then the opportunity presented itself before we were expecting! We bought a lot of land! We wanted to buy a lot that consisted of a few acres, had a natural body of water, and was next to the mountains. We plan to build our dream home on this lot at some future date. We're so excited!!

I’m in love with it! We have three mountain acres in Utah. But there’s no water nearby. We miss trees and water. This looks perfect! Would love to know the area is but totally understand not wanting to share such things. Congrats! I’m glad dreams come true for some.

Thank you Dana!! We're loving that idea too! We joke about how cool it would be if the power went out for the area but ours kept going because of solar/generator power reserve set up.
Not that we want other people without power lol. But ya we're so excited for the adventures our littles will have here in between travels!!

This land is beautiful... When you showed the grove of trees all I could think was a AWESOME tree house being built. You guys should get a hold of that tree house master guy & see what options you can get. I'm not saying live in a tree house, but a cute fun getaway...from the house you will have on the property. That land is beautiful! With all that water nearby I would suggest building flood plain between your home and all that gorgeous water. Build up a little higher than the creek so if it floods your lower yard handles the extra flow. Oh my goodness that is a beautiful spot. I just know you all are going to make a life there that is amazing!

This is mine and my husbands dream! We are currently saving up while living in our camper full time with our toddler. It’s been fun but I can’t wait for a stretch of land someday! 😍

If I could live anywhere in the USA it would be on land outside of Coeur d’Alene Idaho, overlooking the lake, it’s absolutely breathtaking 😍

Actually? we chose our place North of Spokane... between Loon lake, and Waits lake... if I were to walk out the boor of our house (log home built in the 1880's) and kept going, it's almost three miles through field, and forest to the next cross road... and We LOVE it..... of course I am originally from the Spokane area... giggle

What state is this in? Looks beautiful. I would suggest putting in a well and septic that you can hook the RV to, until you get the house built.

CREEKS FLOOD, make sure you elevate your house. Take a look at the 200 year flood plane and build higher than that. Think about where 6 or 10 inches of rain would go as most of the land around yours looks higher.
Solid advice. We've even wondered about creating some "rolling hills" to help with that between the creek and our house

Hey! So happy for you guys!! A tip I would have would be to watch the property for a year to see what all happens on each lay of the land during each season. That will help you determine where you might want to put what and which direction to have it face and such! Curious of which state you chose!

Hey Meredith! We were planning on it! But in our recent upload we actually explained a little about this: we decided that with all the unknowns from COVID-19 and how far our land is from a hospital...we moved into a new home near our hospital. We now have more space and are close in case any complications with this pregnancy and delivery. BUT...we will be visiting our land often as we figure out how we want to develop it

Amazing views with a quiet setting. Now since you will have all this land it will be perfect for the 22 dogs that you need to get Nell and Avi. YAY congrats! How many acres is it? We have our vision boards and we know exactly what we want and I know that God has things planned for us - stokes for whatever timing it comes in but 1000% agree that goal and vision is necessary to get the things we want! Begin with the end in mind!

@@TheJurgys Yes! 😀 Don't get in a hurry making any decisions...sit and chew on things awhile and do alot of research. Also, if you build a permanent structure, windows are the key...let in as much natural light as possible. If you can do any of the projects yourself, it has more meaning. Good luck guys!
