    Man, if Donovan had just gone overseas in his prime, and stayed overseas, he could have become the unanimous GOAT of the USMNT. Sad how far he has fallen.

    I don’t disagree w what you’re saying. But we’re forgetting that Landon Donovan won the best young player at the World Cup in 2002 and was a huge part of our run that year. This same award was won by Mbappe, pogba, muller, and pele. The US also advanced further in the WC. So I would say Landon Donovan was actually more accomplished in international play in his career at 24 (same age as pulisic).

    I wish him the best in Serie A. I guess Donovan can have his take. I think Pulisic should keep pushing himself against top competition and MLS isn't top competition right now. Maybe in 10 or 15 years it will be different. We don't know. Messi will definitely make some kind of impact on the kids watching him here 👍

    Landon is the goat of USA soccer. I think if pulisic is just going to Milan to get benched, then he should just come to mls. It's definitely not as competitive as some leagues in Europe but it's still competitive. In the end it's a risk, if he plays most games and does it well then it'll end up being a great decision.

  • @Liquidcadmus
    @Liquidcadmus Год назад +1

    Pulisic did the right move and he has a great career ahead of him. Donovan is just looking foolish. if you want to be the most competitive player possible, you have to play in Europe.
    It's also good for American soccer to have American players playing in top European teams, they will grow the interest in MLS and its players.
    I'm Argentine, and I can tell you, the entire World cup roster that won the tournament is playing in Europe except for only two players, Thiago Almada and Franco Armani. that should tell you how important it is to play in Europe.

    Donavan is starting to get annoying with these takes… him even suggesting Pulisic to come to mls just shows how low his standards are. Why would you want any of the usmnt players in mls? Donavon knows mls is nothing compared to Europe. Just because he was a underachiever his whole career he wants to project that on our players. He’s toxic

We want Pulisic to get more experience, I get it, but Donovan is correct. We NEED TO UMP OUR SOCCER GAME HERE. Our MLS needs to turn to be the best that overseas. I understand Donovan. Also as a Chelsea fan, I've gotta say, Pulisic was trusted with the number 10, he then got injuries upon injuries upon injuries. Got to the point that I was genuinely concerned for him any time he stepped on the pitch. Because of his injuries the team couldn't rely on him and he just couldn't get any series of games in the squad where he made an impact and earned his spot on the teamsheet. I have a lot of love for Puli, but *he* was a flop at Chelsea, it wasn't just Chelsea being a mess that made him a flop. Mans just couldn't stay fit
