I wish
For the pigments I would recommend adding a little bit of honey so they don’t start to mold and it will give them a little bit of body. (Honey may be sweet and sticky but it’s a natural antiseptic, just keep that in mind)
You could also use distilled white vinegar!
Can you use both?
@@tacoandurmom I would not use honey. Once diluted, this increases likelihood of microbial spoilage and / or fermentation. Honey is only anti-microbial before dilution. This is why diluted honey is able to be fermented for mead.

yessss I love goblincore. cottagecore has cute fashion and I like some of it but it's not alt enough for my taste and it's a bit too femme. and goth is too hardcore. I'm somewhat of a mix between cottagecore, general alt, and goblincore and goblincore is definitely one of my favorite aesthetics ever.

I totally get you when it comes to liking bits of a few different aesthetics! I'm really into goblincore right now since making this video but I generally like a mix of goblin, cottage, royalty, and fairycore!

Omg same.. she said to pick out something to get to look nice on Easter because I haven’t gotten any new clothes in forever and everything’s stained and I have 3 pairs of pants and 4 shirts ( maybe? ) so when I showed her something I liked which was a nice yellow I liked instead of buying that one she found one she liked more that was a different yellow that costed twice as much because she wanted it her way instead, and whenever I show her anything I remotely like that she dosnt find interesting she completely ignores it and focuses on the fact I liked sewing 8 years ago and that she made me wear pink so ofc I love pink, pinks my favorite color, totally, makes sense ofc ofc, like please I just want a blank shirt and like a hoodie and sweat pants that have pockets and arnt fitted to my shape to show off my tibbys because big dysphoria

a lot of goblincore outfits use thrifted clothes! the clothes are also pretty full coverage and neutral colored, so overprotective parents shouldn’t have much of an issue! i can link to some outfit inspo if you would like!

I love goblincore because i can have the weirdest things in my rooms and it's considered almost necessary to have atleast one "Wierd" item if your into goblincore- (like McDonald's furbys, wierd animal figures, etc)

Oh gosh!!! I am very blessed to have such a backyard but I do unfortunately live in a rental home so it's not mine forever😩
Goblin core is like the dirty style Forest while the cabin core is the clean side of the forest if you combined them then it's all Forest and I think that's what I want
I absolutely adore Cottagecore and Goblincore. They've both helped me reconnect with my appreciation for nature and helped me learn to romanticize my life, no matter how simple it might be. I had to do boring adult bullshit today like budgeting and paying bills, but I did it while my house was full of sunlight and the smell of bread baking, all while snuggling with my cat. And that made it not suck as much.
Love what you want unashamedly, indulge that weird inner child who has dirt stained knees and flowers and sticks in their hair, who has pockets full of pretty rocks and tries to catch frogs and lightning bugs. And don't hesitate to romanticize the hell outta your life like you're the main character in a Ghibli movie. The world is shit sometimes, so do what makes you happy and don't apologize for it. 💖

The painting part would look more goblincore if you made the paper look aged by soaking it in slightly muddy water, so basically make a large batch of really watery mud-paint, and I wouldn't recommend doing the earrings like that, a better way would be buying the hooks from a craft store and using the wire to tie the buttons to those.

Tips to add to your goblincore aestetic: arm yourself with a rusty scimitar, short bow and plank shield. Kidnap babies and replace them with your fae kin. Fight dwarves in the deep places. Spoil the milk of farmers' cows if they don't leave you bowls of porridge.

I've made ink using vinegar honey water and plants (essential oil optional for smell) but I used ferns which made a bright yellow color it went on pale yellow then dried VERY bright same when I made a tannish brown using acorn caps I made it by adding those things together and slowly simmering it

I made a drawing a while back and now that i see goblin core i notice that drawing really suits it the drawing is of a mushroom man sitting on a mushroom while holding a button and a toad man is sitting right bellow the mushroom so its just really acurate and i want to try making that branch frame for it

Different plants may also change colour depending on the pH of the water and soil, which may have contributed to hey your plants produced varied colours!

Side note if you want to disinfect your sticks bake them for 35 mins at 250 degrees Fahrenheit
My favorite is the DIY frame. I have some mushroom drawings on brown paper taped on my wall, but it bothers me that they don't have a frame, so since I have a tree outside, I'll be trying to do this. I'm so excited!

I never heard of goblincore before today, silly but cool! I really like what you did with that painting but have two suggestions.
1. That water might be boiling when you put it in the dish but that little bit of water in those glass dishes is going to cool off almost immediately. You might use a tea ball and steep your materials in that... you could use a bit more water and then boil it down to the color intensity you want. Boiling it would also kill anything living in the material and make your painting less likely to mold.
2. I don't think goblins would use hot glue, what about threading the vine through the paper clips?

You know you can make actual dyes/inks by boiling any plant you want in a pot right? You dont need to chop anything, just boil them. Pine cones and stuff work super well and most plants will dye natural fibres like wool/yarn and clothing
