Kentucky lawmakers try to outlaw skill-based gaming machines

  • Gaming machines are popping up around Kentucky bars, pool halls and convenience stores. Some have dubbed them "gray machines" and say they're only still operating because of a loophole in Kentucky law. The machine developers say they are skill-based games and aren't technically slot machines, and they feel that means they're legal.

    There's a guy that has one in his store on elm tree and 6th Street and he unplugs it when people get close to winning.... Being able to manipulate like that should be illegal

      Unplugging does nothing.. the numbers are tracked inside the machine..

    There is nothing skill based about the machines. There isn't any difference between Gray Machines and Cherry Master Machines
