Nice and very informative. Just put a 1350 up front so exactly opposite of yours lol but just happened to get a deal on driveshaft with axles. I put my rubicon axles in this weekend the are trussed and gusseted with 4.88 and rcv axles up front and ten factory chromoly axles in rear. I also went to a 4 inch spring instead of 2.5 I was hitting to many rocks being that low.
Great video! Hope you don't mind me asking your opinion in something. Would you go for an Adams Driveshaft or a Rough Country one for the rear end of a lifted Cherokee XJ with 31 inch tyres? Do you think there will be much difference? In Europe it's difficult to find these kind of driveshafts and these are the two brands I can buy "easily" from here. Thank you!
Thanks for asking the question. Tom Woods and Adam’s are market leaders in the USA. If money is not a concern buy the Adam’s shaft, they have great customer service if needed. The Rough Country is a good driveshaft and would work great and offer good service life and should be a cheaper to purchase.
Gotta tell you man I just ordered a 1350 for the rear of my jku from adams and it came with a nee yoke for the rear end that utilizes u bolts.. i was hoping for a circular flange so it can take hits on rocks better.
just installed my Tom Woods rear shaft on my yj...perfect. great people to deal with. thanks John 👍
Great to hear! Yes the team at Woods is awesome. Thanks for watching

I’m not 100% sure which is better but I do like my flange mounted shaft. You would think they would let you select your rear mount?
Hello I have a samurai with Toyota axles and 33inch tires. Should I go with 1310 or 1350 driveshafts?
1310 driveshafts will be a perfect match
1410 if there is room, stronger and 17ish degrees more flex without binding.
Yeah I didn’t want to even talk about 1410 as most don’t need it or could be application and fitment concerns. Thanks for watching
