I'm a cop i can find a loop hole" he then laughed and said he was joking turned out the cop owned that gym and they were taking it over. He told them to have fun and enjoy themselves and went on with his night. He came and reclaimed it the next morning. .

We thought "wouldn't it be funny if they were playing GO as well" and then we saw the little battle animation above the gym. They were trying to take it over but couldn't, they reduced the prestige down a few hundred but it seems they couldn't beat the 3 400-500 cp Pokemon on there. They gave up and drove off so me and my friend walked down there and raised the prestige back up. Valor for life, this is our town and our gyms SON!
Thing Pokemon Go needs: •Better AR grounding for Pokemon, they shouldn't be able to just move around when you move the phone. •Real battle system, there's no skill in tapping the screen repeatedly. •The ability to allow yourself to be seen by other players on the map, have people actually engage with other people. •Trading, why isn't this already in it. •Battling other players outside of Gyms. •Somewhere to heal a Pokemon without potions or revives. •Shiny's •anything to help with the battery All that and I think it'd be perfect, there's probably more so lemme know your thoughts

I was playing Pokemon go by the river and I just saved someone's life, but more importantly their Pokemon. They were really distracted and the river doesn't have a rail it just has a step about 2inches high the river has very strong currents and would have you out to sea in a matter of minutes, well anyway he was about to walk in and he was actually mid fall and a grabbed his shirt and pulled him back up... Pokemon nearly killed someone but also saved someone.. So that's pretty cool
If the popularity keeps up, I'm gonna be really curious to see if it affects childhood obesity rates over a year or two, perhaps even crime rates. There will be some interesting academia to come out of this for sure.

While I do not condone to violence, I can relate to that guy cause it is very annoying to be trying for who knows how long to capture enough gyms to get a worthwhile defender bonus from them. But later I considered that the maximum daily income of pokemon coins is 100 (10 gyms) which costs 1 euro. So why bother being serious about gym capturing when it is not worth the time investment to capture and hold several gyms at once. Just battle for the sake of battling and look forward to someone taking down your gym so that you can repeat the takeover.
now I have found zubats in an estate all the time but all other common Pokemon I'm getting none of. no pigey, not many caterpies, and I'm instead getting growlithes and hypnos. Weird

i was walking and a guy in a van came up to me and said "Hop in my car and i will take you to a pokestop" he was around the age of 50 and i am 17. I looked through his window and saw a pocket knife on the passenger seat. and then i saw a person in all black in the back with 3 stab wounds. I then said No thank you and walked off behind a builder. I called 911. I went back and asked his age (cause the cop wanted to know) he then said give me your phone or i will stab you. Luckily i had my phone on voice memos a couple seconds after that the cops arrived he was arrested and the person in the back ended up surviving and was of the age of 15.
I was out at 4:30 am catching pokemon with my friends, and we came across a bunch of red team people. We said fuck red team and they tried to fight us. We were only kidding. -_-
xD, Omg imagine someone actually yelling that to bloods. Tho it really does create a gang like relationship between the teams. And I love it :D. Its awesome, like your team holds a whole area and its constant battles with the other teams to take as much of the city as possible. Its so awesome :D.
A personal experience that I had with Pokemon GO was just too awesome. I was walking in my neighborhood, spotted a local park that had two Pokestops next to each other with Lures running. With in 10 mins a huge amount of the locals "camped out" near by. All races and ages were present excitedly talking about life, love and Pokemon Go. I was able to network a few side gigs out of it as well as meet some really amazing people. Additionally some of the locals learned that I am a audio visual tech. They related that their church/school has all the gear but no expertise to operate it. Proudly I was able to set up a free audio boot-camp workshop for the youth in the area. I was in a small way able to empower others and share a passion. I feel if lead correctly Pokemon Go is an awesome way to get off the sofa, get some walking in and be social, and maybe make a small difference.

the game does not register you moving faster than 25 km/h so the eggs will not progress to hatch and u can only catch them if you are moving slowly or standing still
The game definitely accounts for that, and if you live in an area that's sparsely populated, it's either drive between clusters of Pokestops (walking around to get them all upon arriving) or hitting the same area over and over and over again. Driving or tedium doesn't seem like much of a choice as long as it's a choice you're able to make, right?
Actually if you have Pokémon eggs you're screwing yourself if you drive because the game has a speed limit where you won't get any progress on your eggs if you go too fast. That's a handicap unless you're in bumper to bumper traffic where let's be honest walking would probably be faster.

I was playing Pokemon go the other day when I went to a gym a mile or so away, I have a friend who lives nearby by, but it was so cool because after I went to the gym I did a 180 and drove 2.5 miles on my bike to a park that had a lure module and I found my friend and his brother there, the funny thing is we planned to go poke hunting the 2 days from then, but we had unintentionally run into each other 2 miles away from both our homes.
Dude, on 27-Jul when the game comes out officially here in Europe it will be madness. Some people made a facebook group to gather on 27th at the center of my city (downtown I think its called) and go out and catch them all. Literally 1400+ people are 100% gonna be there and 1600+ still arent sure and 2000 are invited and the numbers grow every time you reload the page xD. And the thing is I expected like 12 year olds or something like that. But people with 20+ years are like the 80% of the group. FFS. Imagine 1500 or even 2000 people all spreading out at the same time to catch pokemon. I cant even fathom what all the people who have no idea about this will think xD.

There are two pokestops right outside my sisters apartment, so people are visiting her apartment constantly. She downloaded the game and she now knows that she is set cause she can catch some pretty rare Pokemon from her apartment.
This game is making people do some unexpected stuff , like making anti-social people walk out of home , meet new anti-social friends , find real life crimes , find dead bodies , find bandits who want to steal your phone...hell , if they keep doing this stuff the crime rates will go down , Nintendo is making an army of people who do half of the police's job. I only got it today so my opinion won't matter too much, but I would highly suggest it. Just keep in mind that it only just came out so there are a lot and I mean A LOT of bugs. It's a fun game with a good system. If you are ok with not battling until level 5 then you're all set.

I asked how many were joining them for tonight. One guy said "It's just the four of us." I go ahead and seat them. Skip to a few moments later and they haven't said a word to each other. One thing to mention about the area I work at: it's extremely populated and is practically bleeding Pokemon from the surrounding buildings. Idk. For me, it was a little strange that they weren't talking and letting each other know what Pokemon was near.

i was walking and a guy in a van came up to me and said "Hop in my car and i will take you to a pokestop" he was around the age of 50 and i am 17. I looked through his window and saw a pocket knife on the passenger seat. and then i saw a person in all black in the back with 3 stab wounds. I then said No thank you and walked off behind a builder. I called 911. I went back and asked his age (cause the cop wanted to know) he then said give me your phone or i will stab you. Luckily i had my phone on voice memos a couple seconds after that the cops arrived he was arrested and the person in the back ended up surviving and was of the age of 15.

A personal experience that I had with Pokemon GO was just too awesome. I was walking in my neighborhood, spotted a local park that had two Pokestops next to each other with Lures running. With in 10 mins a huge amount of the locals "camped out" near by. All races and ages were present excitedly talking about life, love and Pokemon Go. I was able to network a few side gigs out of it as well as meet some really amazing people. Additionally some of the locals learned that I am a audio visual tech. They related that their church/school has all the gear but no expertise to operate it. Proudly I was able to set up a free audio boot-camp workshop for the youth in the area. I was in a small way able to empower others and share a passion. I feel if lead correctly Pokemon Go is an awesome way to get off the sofa, get some walking in and be social, and maybe make a small difference.

The game definitely accounts for that, and if you live in an area that's sparsely populated, it's either drive between clusters of Pokestops (walking around to get them all upon arriving) or hitting the same area over and over and over again. Driving or tedium doesn't seem like much of a choice as long as it's a choice you're able to make, right?
Actually if you have Pokémon eggs you're screwing yourself if you drive because the game has a speed limit where you won't get any progress on your eggs if you go too fast. That's a handicap unless you're in bumper to bumper traffic where let's be honest walking would probably be faster.

I was playing Pokemon go the other day when I went to a gym a mile or so away, I have a friend who lives nearby by, but it was so cool because after I went to the gym I did a 180 and drove 2.5 miles on my bike to a park that had a lure module and I found my friend and his brother there, the funny thing is we planned to go poke hunting the 2 days from then, but we had unintentionally run into each other 2 miles away from both our homes.

Dude, on 27-Jul when the game comes out officially here in Europe it will be madness. Some people made a facebook group to gather on 27th at the center of my city (downtown I think its called) and go out and catch them all. Literally 1400+ people are 100% gonna be there and 1600+ still arent sure and 2000 are invited and the numbers grow every time you reload the page xD. And the thing is I expected like 12 year olds or something like that. But people with 20+ years are like the 80% of the group. FFS. Imagine 1500 or even 2000 people all spreading out at the same time to catch pokemon. I cant even fathom what all the people who have no idea about this will think xD.

I only got it today so my opinion won't matter too much, but I would highly suggest it. Just keep in mind that it only just came out so there are a lot and I mean A LOT of bugs. It's a fun game with a good system. If you are ok with not battling until level 5 then you're all set.

One thing to mention about the area I work at: it's extremely populated and is practically bleeding Pokemon from the surrounding buildings. Idk.
