I remember how proud I was of my team the time I fought Spencer. I've used a Milotic (she really liked to use Protect and Recover), Metagross (it immediatly uses Explosion when it's about to lose) and Gardevoir (she reeeaaaally loved to use Calm Mind to the limit).
This is in my opinion the hardest and most stressful Frontier Brain. I barely won that battle in the second time. You just gotta get lucky and have the perfect Pokemon team with you.

The key is that what moves pokemon like to use is completely based on natures (as if getting them to attack wasn't annoying enough). Different natures like to use different tactics. Also, some natures change tactics if their hp < 50%.
Shouldnt luck symbol be on this place -.- Ive won every single place in the frontier except this one. It always say "Incapable of using it's power." And I'm like: "Whut". Then my pokemon dies.

+Kreme Chan It's technically luck for the player, but the concept is that the trainer is going to sit back and watch his/her Pokémon fight on its own and cheer it on. The "spirit" part comes from having enough faith and spirit to let the Pokémon fight effectively.
I would definitely try this out again when I replay Emerald. Never knew about the natures before. I've read a bit and I think this is one place where the neutral natures might have some uses - their strategy remain constant.
Better yet, get a Salamence with a choice band and teach it outrage, you’ll kill everything in just about one hit make sure it have max Ivs adamant nature and it’s ev trained in att and speed, and lead it first.
Actually playing a ROM hack that have most Pokes till Gen 9. I don't wanna use legendaries for Frontier unless necessary (Miraidon/Koko for terrain for example). Should I just have a full offensive team of Sassy Pokemon in Palace?
I got a Magneton with Sturdy just for Spencer’s Crobat and Lapras. It had Shock Wave for Crobat too for its Double Team BS and TBolt for Lapras, and even Suicune. That’s its moveset.
I was so close the 1st time I challenged him. I was down to his Lapras but my Metagross was weak and my last pokemon Latias was incapable of using her power.
I have great respect for those who can win the factory and palace without hax. Right now I'm down to three gold symbols needed. The catch? They are needed in hax tower, hax palace, and the cursed factory which for some reason keeps getting me hard to use pokemon
i beat the factory, though it took me weeks. i started with a banded aerodactyl, he leads with starmie. aerodactyl uses ancientpower, starmie kills it with hydro pump. in comes manectric to kill starmie with thunderbolt. then, noland sends in gardevoir, who takes a crunch and retaliates with psychic which knocks manectric down to 4 hp. my manectric then kills it with another crunch. nolands final poke is crobat, who luckily gets outsped by manectric and hit with a thunderbolt. however, this is a defensive crobat with toxic, giga drain, double team and confuse ray. it lives the thunderbolt and kills manectric with giga drain. after leftovers recovery, i dont think my vileplume couldve killed it with sludge bomb, but after crobat double teamed i got a crit on sludge bomb and killed it. this is the only time i screamed for joy playing a video game

Don't even think I will even attempt any of the Golds, lest I be driven completely mad. Factory is difficult even on the Silver symbol, since it is so unpredictable. I can't remember what my first two Pokemon were, nor what Noland's first two were, but the final fight came down to my Milotic VS. his Clefable. He Thunderbolted me while I desperately used a combination of Surf and Recover to try and stay alive and win. Ultimately Milotic's amazing special defense pulled through and I took out the Clefable and got my symbol. I still praise every Pokemon God I know for giving me that Milotic. Had I been given literally any other Pokémon I would have probably lost that fight - not even Suicune or Vaporeon have the same special bulk as Milotic. It was literally the exact bulky Water type I needed to survive that Clefable. How have you fared with the Gold symbols? Were they difficult to get?
***** i have gold in factory and dome. i cant remember dome being that hard, because milotic owns the master completely. i find factory more fun due to randomness but it gets irritating. i have silver in pike and pyramid. i tried to get gold in both but failed too much and got annoyed. i takes me months to get a symbol only because i take a lot of long breaks from the game because i get bored, but i probably will eventally try again for most if not all the symbols. i want to get a metagross for my team but havent got around to doing that yet

So I was defeated every time before I even reached the boss. I am currently in the process of training a Tyranitar in an attempt to finally win (strong enough to battle general trainers, and also able to take out the boss' dreaded Alakazam).

Really hate the battle palace, here's one thing. Your pokemon is also controlled by Ai, not only Ai but Rng as well. I mean there's a chance that your pokemon can not do a move, you also have to take care of the other bullshits, confusion, sleep and what move the pokemon will do, will it hit? Although the biggest factor of course is what move they will use. My most favorite one is the battle factory of course.
How can you get Pokerus in Pokemon Emerald? Just like any other game? Battle wild pokemon hoping for a 0.0006% chance that your battling pokemon gets infected?

If it helps I used a specially defensive Dusclops with Toxic and a Relaxed nature specifically for that Horn Drilling Lapras.
