It’s interesting to see Disney continue to find midpoints between replicating the original film props and replicating the in-universe “canon” items. In some cases the result is merchandise thats more “accurate” (in a sense) than what was on-screen. That’s a tough line to walk, and they do it pretty well.
I wonder if the Exit decal was purposely left off since it’s written in English. Would be cool of they added it but wrote it in Aurebesh like the changes they made to a New Hope.
@@StarWarsReplicas1:1 scale??? Lol noooo buddy I think he means 1:18 or does it match up well with vintage 3.75 scale vehicles. If this was 1:1 scale it would be the size of your garage 😂
@@thegoodkid4250so the model was an actual prop that was used in the film. In ANH you see Luke playing with it while he’s giving 3po an oil bath. His question was whether the models were 1:1 to the prop that was used in the movie not an actual T16 😂
Bought one off ebay. The decal was peeling off on one side. The seller said I could return it for a PARTIAL refund because of the condition. How is that my fault?
The quality of these mass produced replicas are just getting better and better!

It's shocking how good this is for $40. Looking forward to getting one of these off eBay soon. I really hope we see more items like this from Disney!
Agreed! I can’t believe it’s $40!

Interesting idea!
After you applied the decal did you apply some varnish to seal it?
No just because I don’t know how the water slide will react
Hi Gabe where did you get the base the at-at/falcon combo base you are doing this review on?
It’s a bookshelf from Amazon
I’m going to the parks today I think I’m going to pick one of these up.
Oh for sure! They’re at the Toydarian Toymaker shop across from the creature shop
@@StarWarsReplicas thank you!
@@StarWarsReplicas and just picked one up! Can’t wait to assemble it.
How do you enter this thing? Is there a hatch on the underside?
What scale is yours and what scale is the Disney one? Thanks for the video comparison! Keep up the great work!
They are both 1:1. Remember in ANH Luke is playing with the model when he’s giving 3po an oil bath

I scraped mine off, going to replace them with better quality decals
@@jusdrewit yeah I bought some decals off Etsy. Just sucks I had to drop another $25
Love it!
The Disney pilots are not exact. Missing some silver and black detail, particularly around the front pockets.
Yeah it definitely needs some work to make it accurate
Got a Galaxy’s Edge smuggler to grab me one to add to my collection
