Thank you for this video! These types of videos are super helpful in guiding my sewing plans so that can be more intentional about what I make that fits into my wardrobe! I look forward to more of these types of videos!
I love love when you show your patterns made up .. Im looking at the looks and seeing them styled and saying oh ya !! I am a member and have only made a few things.. the bias skirt comes to mind ... thank you you have inspired me..
Finally, a video that frees me from guilt of having more outerwear in my closet and patterns/stash than any other garment!! (really) Hayley does a fantastic job styling that gave me some great ideas, these are the most helpful types of videos (thanks for adding shoes..always a conundrum..)
Love the ideas but it would be great to see more pictures of the same coats styled on actual people! I know we can look up hashtags on instagram but it might be a good addition while you're talking about each garment. The few pictures there were weren't onscreen long enough for me to take them in. I personally skipped ahead to see each look so having more examples during the discussion would have made the whole video more interesting and engaging.
I would say it was probably just to quickly show it modeled on an actual person, since we are seeing it styled on a dress form. I’m sure the photos are also shown to quickly give ideas for other colors, fabrics, and style pairings, but the main focus of the video is of course the styling they’re showing with the dress form. 😊 There are links to each pattern in the description if you wanted to see more views. ✌️

Shoes are definitely an integral part of the styling process! Thanks for watching.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! We appreciate the ideas for how to make our videos more interesting and engaging.
What is the point in adding a shot of the garment you’re talking about if it’s only on screen for seconds, or have I missed something?

Yes, @kat-thefruitbat is correct. The point is to quickly show what it looks like on a person. Hope you enjoyed the video!
I can’t imagine a climate where you wear a warm coat like that Denise and loafers at the same time. You would either have cold feet or be too warm.
In Oregon our weather fluctuates pretty frequently, so we end up wearing lots of warm/not as warm combo pieces in a single outfit.
