The fact that this is “omg bungus actually did something” rather than “8 atgs 2 icbms and a clover” really goes to show how rare bungus being useful is
I remember when I was watching I left to go do something, return and see you with 8 ATG's and being like "wow, must've found a lucky ATG printer" then leaving again to only return to you having *not only* a clover, but 2 ICBMs on stage five on top of it all. What a crazy run, and so nice to see the totally op voids bungus tactics :)
You have to think about people who don't have the dlc, would you increase the difficulty of the base game? Or just when you have the dlc? I think both implementations would be bad.
dude 3k more hours of risk of rain and you will have spent an entire year playing it. i genuinely think thats a goal lmao that would be such a flex to me
10:00 going to be honest, i find myself randomly watching whatever you post just because you demeanor is always super laid back. idk how to describe it but it's all very relaxing compared to what im normally watching on youtube (ie max0r, russianbadger, senza etc)
I like that your opinion on fun mechanics has been changing over time, lol. I remember I commented, "you always hit the mountain shrine." Mostly in a joking way but it's been my opinion that if something makes the game more fun, you do it. And I think your reply was just, "not always." I noticed from when I started watching this channel, a lot of the content was focused on winning or improvement, but now a lot of discussions is talking about not if things are good/bad, but if it's fun.
My question to race is if its really more fun to have cope runs even more copium than post sots when we already saw this version is still capable of 3 hour long runs just to get to mithrix despite power creep. I think its ok to accept its a little easier to play the game now. The items added are certainly more fun.
@Warble132 I'm not usually that guy, but buddy, punctuation in your sentences would be nice, lol. Cope runs are probably still the most fun runs too though, if you ask me. Sure, it feels bad to have a string of bad luck, but to really stick to a bad run, and win despite the terrible luck, feels incredible.
@ if this is enough to to make you be that guy, you are definitely that guy. ill leave punctuation to my work emails, thanks. Nothing about a 3 hour cope runs would be fun to me. It feels more like the game failed when it happens. Circling around sky fields seeing the health bars never go down is only fun for so long
@@Warble132 I mostly said to add punctuation, because I legit sat here reading the run on sentence for 10 minutes trying to decipher what you wanted to say. If your goal is to state your opinion, it's best to be clear about it. Most people will give up trying to read and ignore ya.
I've been wondering if you would enjoy reworked scaling (more specifically downpour mod, but with tweaked initial scaling, I feel like it's tad bit too easy with default settings and leads to more consistent runs but that's how I feel after playing with it)
anyone have tips for defeating the false sun that doesn’t involve multiple loops. the only way i’ve been successful is getting so powerful that i can kill it before it can attack. every time i go on first loop i end up getting pushed out into the open and then it turns my abilities off and the laser kills me.
Not sure if this will help but movement speed is a big defining factor on whether you will survive or not, being able to move to a pillar before False Son charges up his laser regardless of where it is is very important because it does a ton of damage (you might want to back up away from the pillar when False Son approachs it otherwise you will get hammered, do it so that the pillar is still blocking his laser). If you get ben's raincoat that's also very good because that will give you back all your skills if they're taken from you.
I know I'm a few weeks late, but most definitely move speed is your biggest friend. Even if damage is low, being able to get out of the way can really save your run against it
Costs the most out of any interactable with no long term scaling. You’re trading an entire void seed or like 3 chests for it upfront every time it shows up lol

average race run
I just remembered that yesterday I had a run with 20 AtGs and one ICBM, and I still died because Loader sucks at fighting Mithrix
Loader has an easy mithrix fight, you just charge punch and then hide
Sounds like a skill issue to me @@elfrangofrito

Love how atg just did not want to proc even with clover on umbral LOL

i think the game could use a bit higher scaling now that we have insanely strong sots items
I think eclipse 9-10 could be added, buffing all enemies will just make people feel weaker. Making it optional avoids that.

Bungus truly is the best item in Risk of Rain 2

Join the expansion manager Race, I got shrines of shapings out of the game thanks to my feedback with that mod :D!

Nothing like a Race upload after a long day
At this point i get confused when i only see 1 red come out of a legendary on this channel
holy, the video just popped up right before my eyes
What are the chances someone else has the same pfp as me...
truly one of the runs of all time

whats wrong with the shaping shrines you didn't explain it now im left clueless.

@RacesVideos wow that's kinda wild. I kinda wish it was limited to multiplayer only because it's useful there.
Finally enough bungus for vields!
Wait, I thought they reverted void fields to having frozen time? Am I misremembering?
I use a mod to make time move again since I didn’t like the change
@ gotcha. Yeah, it is admittedly a little busted, won’t lie.
Did I not see a hoof printer on stage 4? EDIT I was wrong, it was backup mags
I also need a sneeze button
ONE bungus can allow you to just cheese vields for like 30 minutes
with eclipse 8, no!
@ ohhh true
never seen anyone play all alt loader, please make a video playing him please and thank you.
I mean I'd like to see how the maestro does it too, because I absolutely find Thunder Gauntlet fricking abhorrent.
Dream speedrun ahh run
Bungus is only useful for Wungus
