    Strangely enough, I can hear more of HW Bush's New England/Connecticut accent in this, at least more so than his later interviews and speeches.

    He was searching for peoples from Texas’s and out side Texas to spurt him , when he begins with his party inside Texas when he was young , He was excited, about it with peoples he trust , back in the time , have nice days

      He was making his second and final US Senate run. He was expected to have a rematch with Ralph Yarborough whom he lost to in 1964. Yarborough however was taken out by Lloyd Bentsen in the 1970 Democratic Primary. Some would argue that if anything, Bentsen ran to Bush's right.
