- Learn how to make a gift box shaped like pyramid. This paper craft tutorial is easy to follow and is a great gift wrapping idea. Wrap your small gifts, candy, small toys, prizes, etc. with this paper pyramid box. The pyramid box requires 1 sheet of square paper, a ribbon, and no scissors. By definition, the square pyramid has 4 sides/faces that are triangles, and the bottom/base is a square. If I want to make a bigger version of this and know the size of the base (i.e. the square in the middle) how do I calculate the size of square I need to start with (if that makes sense!)

I think I know some kids who would like to make this. How heavy is this paper? It looks thinner than card stock, but heavier than ordinary paper on the video. Thanks so much.
