I cant get over the fact that this theme originated from a sad story. David Torn, a wise man who made great music, never knew that people would up and steal his music behind his back, praise to this man for making such clarity in music. You are loved @DavidTorn
Don't take this event from a negative perspective. We wouldn't be here if they didn't steal it. However, I agree that they should give full credit to this man.
It's not stolen, though. From my understanding, it's taken from a Sample CD, which is intended TO be used by other people (Assuming they paid for the CD, of course.) Edit: Did some more reading and apparently David Torn did not get paid proper royalties by the company that published his his work, which is fucked up. Hope he's doing well and is at least happy knowing the Amazing work he's done has inspired and positively affected millions.
It´s sad for David Torn, they stealed his soundtrack, but without this act we wouldn´t have this piece of art. This soundtrack accompained me in study time, stress time, relaxing time... even while I travel in train. I hope one day I could hug David Torn, and be grateful for creating this masterpiece, that means too much for me.
It feels weird how can a horror game comforts you so much more than any horror game, it's so nostalgic that gave you good memories over a horror game with traumatizing creatures yet still you can't fucking stop from loving this good game.. The soundtracks the themes.. Everything is precious
This makes me feel empty inside, and in mind everything is about my child-hood, gold memories, simpler time, we don’t know that we were making memories guys.
I know exactly what you mean. Every time I hear this or any version with the sample it makes me feel so melancholic. It’s as if I’m reaching out to hug my younger self but I just can’t seem to get close enough no matter how hard I try
I love this song and this version, although it kinda makes me feel empty and nostalgic, those were the best days, just gather up with friends and play re4, those simple times were the best... I know it sounds super cheesy, but it's the only way I can describe the feeling
When I was around 10 maybe 11, my brother would share stories about a game he played as a teenager. He described it so vividly, its eerie atmosphere and intense moments-that I was captivated, despite never having played it. About six months to a year later, when I finally got my first console, a PS2, I borrowed a stack of games from my cousin. The discs were all mixed up in the wrong cases, so I started trying them one by one. Some didn’t work, but then I found one that immediately grabbed my attention. The intro had this haunting, spooky vibe, and even before starting, I felt drawn in. Then, the title screen appeared, and the voice announced, “Resident Evil 4.” I got chills; it felt like I had just uncovered something special. My eyes lit up with excitement, and all I could think about was surprising my brother with his favorite game when he got home. I remember the first time playing i had to gather my courage as I stepped into the first house, the fear, the tension and the thrill i felt were exactly as he described. That moment sparked my love for Resident Evil 4, and from that day on, it became not just a game, but an unforgettable experience-one that stands as the best I've ever played. would love to hear everyone’s story on how their journey with Resident Evil 4 started.
its crazy re4 is going ti be 20 years old soon time does fly i started on wii 2008 my brother when it cameout and watching him play it over time got me in too it and i was good and i started speedrunning in 2018 with jtb and mike wave its been too long i miss the and my brother with out him i would of not know how much this game means too me and the remake i live remake too my og is always going to be my fav is more skilled base and im happy i grew up with my brother and thinkful for him i miss him not mad at my self or him i was the life that he choosed when he was at a big party and lost his life
Read this while listening this. Imagine that you’re in this place (the one in the picture) think that you’re walking there wondering why you’re there and why is so dark, feeling that loneliness, fear, cold and sadness having fear in your thoughts thinking that you’re not enough for keep living having that thought where no one cares about you and the only thing that keeps you alive is “you” and only “you” no one else. Remember this:”in every corner in every dark place there is “light” and “hope”. (For me there is no more light that darkness.)
Moving was a good idea for me thinking that way with housing and minus 50 will teach you a bloody murderous lesson that you might be more forgiving in it not from me but it always comes pain always has lessons on its own not just the cold what the cover up people dying in multiple ways shapes and forms some rather rape to death some rather murder everyone subjgating things like that then theres the squaters until there dead empty homes to prove a point its all sad just rent - willy 0
The actual two middle points brown and white both suffered closest to the middle homeless besides certain areas and areas that would have been controlled by me got subjugated until different people rented out to people but they went full racist to - willy 0
They say they meant us I mean whoever gives in first because I'm metis in the middle what the originally called metis they stopped serving trying to turn the countries skin color more brown but the white one did it to make it more white - Willy 0
We didn't know we were making memories we were just having fun

I love how someone can slow something down for many others and they act as if it is sorcery. It really is though....
The sadness that emits from this brings me joy. Makes me feel at home
