I followed your tutorial to make this bag as I thought it was super cute. I had some concerns regarding the design. What was the purpose of cutting the two “squares” in the corners of the lining and denim bag? Also my straps weren’t long enough and I have the issue of frayed Jean straps. What can I do to resolve frayed jean edges of the strap?
Next time show how to put on snaps and which side of the zipper to align with the fabric. This will help beginners like myself. Other than those concerns I really like the creativity and style of the bag.
The squares cut out of the 4 corners are for the boxed corners. If you slow down the video when she sews them you may get a better idea of how it's sewn. The video I am watching is kind of dark, but I sew a lot of corners so I know what she did. I hope this helps.
