Here’s something to know: In ‘Despair’, the scroll speed actually gets faster the more you die to the point it’s almost impossible to beat it, granting you a limited amount of attempts to beat it before you have to shut down and restart the game to refresh it.
When I found that out I was like so that's why I'm doing progressively worse. Btw I beat the nightmare songs and just beat the bendy one today that last part was just pure madness

Luckily, you have been blessed! The 1.5.0 Patch came out and all the mechanics are all nerfed! I used to only beat Cuphead and now on the patch, I beat Sans and got to the Finale in Bendy's Song. But to be honest, I was completely lucky with Sans. Because at the final beat drop was so overwhelming that I didn't even know what I was pressing. But all I can say is: Don't Panic. You never beat the song until you get to the end of it so don't get hyped if you're close.

you don't have to actually restart the game. you can just leave the despair song and enter again instead of retrying
