More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.

i think the Dombas is the center for mining, factories, natural gas fields, and so on. I never see any mention of this fact. The natural gas fields apparantly is very large. Anyone else say more?

The US aid bill, Juzzie, initially is about 51 billion in aid, 10b in loans - better than i expected!
Europe uses private industry to produce ammunition, in contrast to USmilitary. I remain amazed that artillery shells are still used for warfare, even after two years. Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Poland produce parts of the 155 m explosive projectile built by Nammo, a Finnish firm.
It's all so weird - a lot of the Ukrainian exploding drones use dug-up antitank mines, noisy recycling.

70% of US aid is spent in the US on US jobs. But as well, many of the weapons sent to help defend Ukraine are out of date or nearly out of date ( still very useable). These out of date weapons would have to be disposed in the US , at high US cost. Luckily Ukraine ( and Russia 😒) is helping to dispose of them! ( Maybe the US should be Paying Ukraine for this ?)

For instance, the 155SM French shell that is fired from a Mig 29 that you previewed today was so interesting, and the self-propelled Bohdana howitzer that Ukraine is producing. I love this information. Here is something for you - "In June 2022 Ukrainian forces on the mainland of Ukraine reportedly used the 2S22 Bohdana to shell Russian forces on Snake Island, which is 35 km from the mainland. This along with strikes from other artillery systems as well as drones led to the withdrawal of Russian forces from the island on 30 June." - From Wikipedia.

Guadalcanal. A tough place....made tougher by Japanese reinforcements. YET.....an opportunity had presented itself. The Japanese were filling troop transporta from Truk and other key islands. They.....let them fill those ships....and with submarines and coast watcher's on Islands. They found a way to kill thousands at sea.... trying to get to Guadalcanal. Cold blooded it was....but better then in the jungle or staying in fortified Truk and surrounding islands. Not everyone eas aware of this..... especially those on Guadalcanal.
