This little push of theirs will be plugged likely by artillery and jets, then it'll be back to a stalemate in terms of land gained but heavy losses in terms of casualties for Russia.

I just have to say spot on video. I can not say anything negative except that we did not see more burning stuff inside russia. But that one is special ops. We only know about the missions when they fail or if they are meant to be seen. As a person who went through military schooling during the early post Cold War.
That you are not to far off when it comes to softening up an area for operations. Look at the best example of American Alliance during the First Gulf War. Against Iraq's Military and its infrastructures. When you want to get the people the opposition to table to the table the quickest way is taking out their Air Defence. Several things occurs when you do that. Firstly your Air Space is now vulnerable meaning Infrastructures of Military, dual-use systems become a target for attack by unmanned targets. Like you said back then that meant cruise missiles and smart weapons.
along with the ability to move freely around the land and Air-Space around its breached area's. That are now taking up resources to elongate the layered coverage of Anti air systems covering one another. Then you can use the ability to walk your anti air defence forward gaining the ability to not only hold the newly contested land with your air power but project your force out making the Anti Air Defence systems more able to choose which targets they intercept or what the jets can do with cannons.
With the A10 Thunderbolt the Ukraine military would have a tank that flies. 58 are being sent to be destroyed due to expiration date. They are in perfectly operating condition. They are just old. Which could work with the 2800 Bradley sitting outside this time like russia but in a desert conditions. Not maintained but they could be refurbished. Especially with the Bradley plants being built overseas. Now you're setting up the ability to use all your forces in combined operations to expand your front demine area's take out the crew of anti air defence radar stations. HARM missiles were used constantly. Back in those days Iraq had a great Air Force and Air Defence system. So taking them out really took the fight out especially on the road to hell. So just taking away a systems ability can open tons of avenues most good a couple bad. Also that is a key NATO doctrine to take out a targets airpower first, Logistics, main battle lines, HQ's. Almost like a song one way or another because when you open up the sky you open everything up. Just an observation. Well Slavia Ukraine.

I wonder between the artillery from CZ republic, Estonia, USA, and maybe Kazakhstan and Russia’s dwindling artillery pieces daily… I think Russia will lose steam around July and they should lose all their gold reserves around December/January and that’s a projection from BEFORE the oil/gas refineries and oil depots.

Reading a history of the siege of Leningrad. The period Jan to June 1942 is very interesting reading. Stalin defined the objectives and his word was law no excuses. There was huge problems directing the artillery due to poor communication , huge logistics problems supplying food, Ammunition and shotages of basic transport. The soldiers were half trained at best. Stalin had gutted the Officer Corps during the purges in the 30s and command and control was a shambles. After uncoordinated attacks against German fixed positions the Russians lost 345,000 men killed or wounded and gained nothing. Yes they did gain ground using meat wave tactics but lost it due to having no strength left to hold it.........Reading the book I see so many comparisons to the war in Ukraine today.
Don't confuse Russians and Red Army .
Most fighting in Red Army were NOT Russian but from other countries like Ukraine, Belarus etc.
Great reading! I did that one in my Russian language course for extra credit. Have you read 'A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch' or 'The Gulag Archipelago' by Alexander Solzhenitzyn. 'A Day' is the Cluff Notes of his gulag life. It's worth a weekend read as it's less than 200 pages. 😊

Even if it was supposed to be a more realistic 3 weeks, the situation is hardly something for the kremlin to be proud of!! 😂
When naming a specific individual and showing a group photo, it would be helpful to say "Second from left, " etc. so we can see what the Chechen dude looks like. Personally I think it is the second from left, or the guy in the white coat (snort).
