I mean osc types, chaining, did you play individual notes or did you use some delay to "continue" the sound, or some LFO applied to amp or filter? thanks. Also nice touch with how the envelope starts at each bar, I'm really digging it
Great question! The original project files were lost years ago in a computer crash. I was using the old z3ta+ synth a lot at this time, this synth allows up to 6 oscillators, which I often abused! The synth has distortion onboard as well so that was likely used. Sounds to me like a multi OSC “super saw” stack with some distortion and amp envelope/gating. I also used a gating effect VST a lot at that time for lazy sidechaining, so I think an external gate playing over the envelopes of a single root note held for each bar turned this into a very rhythmic and moving synth pattern.
