      @ABanRocks 10 лет назад

      That the hell are you talking about Ed is as left wing as you can get. Way to left wing for me. I like my taxes lower, not higher so Ed's parasite friends can't take it. We all know two types of people vote labour (people on benefits and the public sector).

    • @15908150503able
      @15908150503able 10 лет назад +2

      Adi B Tax definitely should be lower for ordinary people; but increase the VAT tax while you cut taxations on all areas. For me, I'd prefer super rich being taxed more, as they control 80% of the wealth, if you can control that much of the wealth, you should pay 80% tax, as we need their tax to pay for public services and look after poor people and worse off kids, elderlys and disabled people.

    • @ABanRocks
      @ABanRocks 10 лет назад

      CentreLeft Libertarian OMG 80% are you joking me. My family already pays 45% and we don't like it. We would move to USA if the taxes went over 60%. People like my dad contribute way more than we get from the government. The government takes 45p for every £1 earned which is a lot as that is close to half the income. Did you know the highest tax margin in China our biggest competitor is only 10%.

    • @15908150503able
      @15908150503able 10 лет назад +2

      Adi B First of all, I did not say everyone should pay 80% tax, I was saying that the top 20% super rich class who controls 80% wealth of the society.
      Secondly I know exactly how tax system works in China since my parents were born and raised in China and settled in Britain in 1990s. My father was a business man in China during 1980s, he has his own company and yet he paid £200,000 tax each year. The government takes 65% of his income out each year and that was only the official tax, the amount of money he spent to please the bureaucrats in order to keep him out of trouble is not included here.
      You may know from their government report or media that China's taxation is around 10% but please do bear in mind that the CCP government don't always tell the truth to the outside or to their citizens. In China you pay 10% tax to the government, but as business men you must spend loads to forge good relationships with the Communist bureaucrats in case they won't trouble you. My cousin is now a generator supplier in China and his company is only medium size, he told me that he is paying £350,000 tax per year and the government pays him no respect. He must spend extra £200,000 to bribe officials in order to gain more deals from them cos the government monopolies everything. If it is as you said, Chinese business people only need to pay 10% tax each year, there wouldn't be so many rich, middle class Chinese trying to leave the country.

    UK debt is currently 62% of GDP. Japan for example has a National debt of 194%, Italy is over 100%. The US national debt is close to 75% of GDP. Up until 2008 Labour had reduced borrowing from 7% under the Tories in 97 to 4%, had repayed 41bn in net debt repayments in 3 years compared to just 17bn during the entire 17 previous years of Tory governments. Our National debt in 2008 was the same size as it was in 97. The world wide Crash in 2008 changed everything.

    Miliband “Haha! He’s obviously not one of my fans, but yeah keep going!”
    Farage “Complete failure. You could’ve spotted that a mile away.”

    Ed Miliband is over 6" 2 (189 cm) just like Mitt Romney. He is noticeably taller than David Cameron. Internet Sources such as the Guardian Newspaper put the Labour Leader's height at 5" 11 (181 cm). This is false as he is the tallest of the 3 party Leaders. David Cameron and Nick Clegg both stand at 6" 1 (186 cm). Ed Miliband was unaffected when that guy slapped an egg on his shoulder. He was calm and coped with it. He will make a good PM come 2015.

    Now the poor are being penalized for a credit crunch caused by the bankers & the mortgage lenders & their would be middle class borrowers - it is they who should suffer & pay the price for this debacle - not the poor & underpaid. I've said so before - I'll repeat it - Thatchers monetarist policies were not her own, they were borrowed from Enoch Powell - and he expressed serious misgivings about her understanding of them. Profits continue to soar yet the economy still falters - why - rhetorical
