It's awful that the elderly and disabled have to live in such poor conditions because of the Russian invasion. I hope the Russians are pushed out of Ukraine so peace and civil services can be restored to the people of Plavni.

These volunteers need to get these people to evacuate these areas. I get it it's hard for these older folks to leave their home. My family had to lie to my great grandmother and told her they were going on vacation to USA, as the Natzi were approaching their farm in Czecholvia

Very good point! Death is better than life in russia. Also, because I have lost respect for russia, I do not place a capital r when I write russia. To me it is not worthy of being recognized as a place on this planet. Glory to Ukraine from East Canada.

I guess there's no money for pensions. It must be frightening.

    • @yvonnetomenga5726
      @yvonnetomenga5726 2 года назад +1

@Kelly Souter • Ukraine does have money for pensions. The problem is finding the pensioners. Normally, pensioners go to the Post Office to pick up the persions. One video, possibly from RFE, showed a main Post Office sending its workers to a village to distribute pension money. Of course you need open stores to spend the money. In many villages, the stores have been destroyed also.

After 19 years since the beginning of the invasion of Iraq, has the West forgotten this war?
The Iraq war is said to have resulted in 1 million deaths the difference is russia have weapons of mass destruction
A message to the future generations never make russia feel threatened
the difference between "looking dangerous" and "being dangerous".Russia
describes military doctrine as defensive military doctrine. With regard
to nuclear weapons specifically, Russia reserves the right to use
nuclear weapons: in response to the use of nuclear and other types of
weapons of mass destruction against it or its allies,in case of
aggression against Russia with the use of conventional weapons when the
very existence of the state is threatened
Russia has the World's Largest Bomber
As of 2022, the Federation of American Scientists estimates that Russia possesses 5,977 nuclear weapons, while the United States has 5,428; Russia and the U.S. each have about 1,600 active deployed strategic nuclear warheads.
Russia has the most nuclear weapons of any country, at 6,257. Of these, 1,458 are active, meaning they are already deployed, 3,039 are available (can be deployed if needed) and 1,760 are retired (out of use and awaiting dismantlement
How do Russian nuclear weapons compare to the rest of the world?
    Russia - 6,257
    America 5,550
    UK - 225
    France - 290
    China - 350
    Israel - 90
    Pakistan - 165
    India - 156
    North Korea - 40

President Zelinsky 1st language was russian. Doesn't matter what language someone speaks. They are Ukranians. Not everyone
finds it easy to learn a new language. These older people were born when Ukraine was temporarily part of U.S.S.R. so they learned Russian. It doesn't mean they want to BE Russian. Ukraine was independent country longer then they were part of Russia/ U.S.S.R.
They were independent for centuries before Russia even existed. They also were part of Poland, another slavic people who don't want to be Russian either, for a short time.

@@evatripp7788 What you've written is ridiculous, just an excuse. I was born in the U.S. from Ukrainian immigrants, and I, as an American speak Ukrainian. But I can't have a conversation with someone from Ukraine because they don't speak Ukrainian. There's no excuse. It's a shame.

@@8-Tryzub-8 You are missing the point of this whole video for some reason. I was born in Ukraine too and I speak Russian because it was thought in school as the primary language until 1991. I am not sure when you were born but that may have something to do it. Please see the video for what it is which is elderly people in despair because of a pointless war.
