- On Rock Rods episode 104 we are taking you all the way up to Kentucky for some Rock Bouncer Racing action with Southern Rock Racing Series at a new park. That's right we are srrs racing at Hollerwood Off Road Park in Stanton, Kentucky. One again the guys at SRRS has laid out some long courses and we lucked out with plenty of rain to keep the dust down so get ready for a show with the best Rock Bouncing Buggies in the sport. Tim Cameron has a current points lead but there are quite a few drivers close behind. I love the independent front suspension. I think is would b coo to test it on all four corners. Tim did great!
Outlaw had independent on all four corners for an entire season before going back to solid rear. I think it worked better all independent.
Busted Knuckle Films I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks it. Seams like he has more control with the car. And makes it work better maybe Tim will build one and give it a run. And do a lot of testing durning the off season before he would bring it to the series! As always nice video and nice to talk to ya again!

I giggle 🤭 I Lil inside every time o watch TIM CAMRON specially when a few buggies have went everyone feeling good then he comes out and goes right to the top 🔝 if I had a buggy put together I’d have a buggy built like old TIM CAMRON BUT ID HAVE THE GUY THAT OWNS BUSTED KNUCKLE BUILD IT THEN WED HAVE A CHANCE IN HELL ITS GOTTA HAVE IFS
IFS isn't the answer IMO, Tim is back in a Solid Axle rig now and is kicking butt

First race of the year a buggy flung a rock forward and hit me so hard that it broke my sunglasses and knocked me down. Closest call I've had in a while for sure. Good thing our BK sunglasses are tough!

I think their secret is weighing 1000lbs less than the competition and having 800hp or so.

What gears are most of these guys running in the axles I’m sure a lot of them are running atlas transfercases or something similar
Also I couldn’t really tell if some of them were running portals had to watch it on my phone thanks for the great content
They are running straight drive cases and high gears in the axles 3.73 to 4.56

I live in a small town in southern Ohio 2 with power plants so we've got a lot of strip mines and we had a hill and I guarantee if anybody from the same town I'm in or close that went there and sees the name of this hill you know what I'm talking about and it was called The Point and that fucken thing went straight up and down, no little ledges 2 get stop and regroup, you just had to flat-out get it. I never attempted it only had a bone stock 400EX.
Strip mines were from Gavin plant and Kyger.

he is already pretty consistent in the top 10 at every race. He finished 3rd overall for the season in Outlaw and is doing very well in SRRS as well.
