By filling a section of the tank with a pile of rocks, the fry can find a place to hide as they grow up. Had generations of african cichlids, more than one momma at a time. Never had to separate them.

I am Just asking a question but why don't you get cleaner fish or snails they will keep the tank nice and clean and you won't have to clean the tank or even cleaner shrimp it works

I do have some plecos and some snails which help clean the tank, but overtime they can’t keep up with it and they aren’t able to clean it all
