  • This is a very fast way to open cheap padlocks without using a key, but this technique will only work on certain locks.

    Now that's neat. You don't see this often ! Seems like that lock should have an "R" engraved in front of where it says "EGRET".

    This is also a handy skill to have if you are a locksmith in the field. If you ever get locked out of a lock you are rekeying and don’t want to pick it. You can grab a shim and a key blank or a pick and do this from the back of the keyway to the front. Just incase anyone is as nerdy as I am.

    Cool. Would this technique work on something like a Masterlock Pro series, or is there shielding involved with those? Cheers, man. :)

    Question mate, what's stopping a lock manufacturer from producing one that doesn't allow for single picking? Make it so that one would need all pins set at once. From what I've learned, wouldn't that defeat the lock pick?

    • @Dmaclocksport
      @Dmaclocksport  3 месяца назад +1

      In theory yes, but it's not been accomplished yet, although many have tried. The reality is that physical locks will always have exploits available to defeat them
