I'm having a servo calibration issue where the trolling motor won't automatically turn completely to the side when bringing it back up to the stowed position. Garmin support was excellent and I'll be attempting the recalibration tonight. I'll post the directions they gave me if it works. It does require the remote and the motor to be fully deployed and FULLY free of obstructions. Best to do it on the water they said so you don't break a prop or skeg if attempting while on the trailer. Thanks for the video, good stuff.

Did you figure it out? I’m having the exact same issue.

They now have a better replacement collar. Found that out at the bass opens when this one broke again

Garmin have the best support for a big company. You will get an American and they will work with you on the spot. They will follow up and internally test things

@@kansasyouthbass I recently got a Servo Alignment Error. But realized the bottom collet was not locked and the head dropped all the way down squishing the cables. Says it needs 4” clearance so I raised and tightened and seems to be working fine now (I hope)!

Did this actually fix your problem? Can you give a little more details on what the problem was ?

Yes. Was not spot locking correctly. Plastic piece broke. They now have a new fix for it that's easier than this one was.

Ok, I’ve watched this 3 times. Now that I have COVID, I’ve had to slow down and think. It prolly does not have to be cracked, in that this device never stays locked and after a full day it inevitably loosens. Just a loose collar will make it act up. They are going to have to figure a way to secure it, if the servo depends on it.

If there’s going to be pressure applied why wouldn’t they use aluminum something other than plastic

What's the new fix that makes the repair easier?

The new one is a bulkier snap over collar. Way easier to install than this one was.
