Please be mindful Texas has high property tax higher than a lot of places in United States & Houston Texas has hurricanes- tornadoes & flooding being the reason it’s cheap and I’m sure home insurance is high because of it. Also make sure the houses you look don’t have water damage.
One last thing since you’re from a different country, healthcare in the United States is disgusting. You pay for health insurance but they still don’t pay for your entire hospital bill. You still have to pay for healthcare bills AND health insurance. Welcome to United States. :)

This complex is not in the city. It’s deep in the suburbs. A minimum of 45 minutes from the galleria area without traffic. Further for the medical center and downtown. It’s also in a heavy flood area. This is typical of apartments under a $1000. They are terribly far out and Houston traffic is ridiculous.
Personally i think this the best choice for a single person or small family just get a furnished aparment & i’m 21 years old thats my plan also to start my welding career

I live right behind this property. I have lived in the apartment behind them for almost 6years. The area is becoming very loud with all of the street racing they do and the crime is rising. I just hope they have a great security system, I am thinking of moving over here. Lets see.
Definitely not. Since a lot of the energy companies are there and that area has grown extremely fast in the last 10 years rent is more expensive. Apartments in that area start around $1200 for a 1bedroom
