The first time a show has ever managed to make me get teary-eyed (yes, if you pay close attention you can see me struggling to hold back haha). I could not have possibly wished for a better ending to my favorite anime which Steins;Gate has become over the course of this reaction series, and I mean it when I say I felt sad for days after watching this episode and realizing it was actually all over now. Keep in mind, we're not completely done yet! I'll be reacting to the two remaining OVA's, as well as the Steins;Gate movie in the coming weeks! If you're feeling impatient, you can also watch them right away over on www.Patreon.com/Robinoyo. Thanks for watching!
Then end credits scene is actually anime original! The visual novel ends of on the scene before the credits roll and ends with the same banger of a song (gate of Steiner). And i gotta say when i saw that, being the original vn's fan, i was so hyped and overcome with emotion, easily cements as my favourite anime of all time
About the rescue mission in the end credits scene he doesn't return from it. A main reason for him doing this is so his Reading Steiner doesn't activate as if that happened he would overwrite the memories of the Okarin who made it to steins gate without going through 0.
So there are three Okarin right? How many are there?.I don't think he doesn't return from it since he goes there to save them.Him dying there doesn't make sense. Also what really played out in the ending since there was that shadow on Okarin and everything?
@@akanespeedpaints6404It does make sense. That’s why he’s saying goodbye to his friends tho… It is their last meeting. In 18000BC there is no one memory to overwrite so it’s safe for him to just die there. A real mad scientist. A true gigachad who decided to pay his price for making other people suffer because of his decisions.
@@akanespeedpaints6404btw I believe it’s not the only Ocarin we’ve lost. We also lost that one buying plastic upu. We didn’t see his POV. He didn’t make it out of time machine. He is just erased. Also I think his shit about Organization at the very beginning of the story is just a side effect of reading steiner. He kinda knew it all was true but had no clues to explain and just used it as a made up clown mask. This story is a true horror. We saw alternative timeline in 0. So timeline of 0 and of 1 are going in parallel. We know that the only person who can move from one to another is Ocarin. Other people still will suffer SERN dictatorship or WW3. Otherwise 0 timeline wouldn’t have existed 💀 So… We have timeline where Kurisu got shot by Moeka. Moeka got slaughtered by timeleaped Nae. Permadead Okarin. And yeah, the concept of timeleap itself means that Okarin died the first time he timeleaped. It’s basically an Okarin from the past who received an “email” into his head of memories he didn’t lived through. It’s another brain. Another person. I’m literally terrified by those thoughts. And yeah I’m kinda obsessed with this anime. I will buy every game from Science Adventure universe
I've watched plenty of reactors experience Steins;Gate over the years, but I believe you have done the greatest job with it. The analysis between before and after the episodes added so much to the reaction, and showed how much you were engaged with the show.
Just rewatching the series and your reactions and it’s funny that I’ve never been so happy for a protagonist I like so much to be slapped and punched in the face! Your point about voice actors changing between S;G and S;G0, there was a 7 year gap between the original and 0, so I think there was just a general maturity of their voices overall, as well as being more comfortable with their characters, but a very cool thing to notice!
There's probably no cooler entrance than going back 18000 years in time and saying "hi" to two girls who thought they're trapped in the far past for good. Honestly, Steins;Gate is the only anime where I would want a "harem ending", because it feels like every girl would be sad without Okabe, lol. Anyway, nice reaction! Happy new year!
Don't forget about the Drama CDs if you want more SG (Not even as a reaction just in general), there's a huge playlist on RUclips. I'd recommend 'The Disappearance of Hououin Kyouma' as a fun one that's pretty short.
The sad thing is that this Okabe never returned to the original world line because Reading Steins was activated and rewrote the memories of the original Okabe from 2010 onwards, many say that Okabe dies in 1800 BC, but many also say that he goes back to the time before the birth of the original Okabe and lives his life at that time and dies, the ending of the anime is open, but the main point is that this Okabe never reached the Steins Gate timeline and only paved the way for the original Okabe made him reach the Steins Gate timeline. It is almost clear about Mayuri and Suzuha, both of them go back to 2025 with the time machine, and you might say that the existence of 2 Suzuha in 2025 will create a paradox, but the point is that if those 2 do not see each other, there will be no paradox, until 2036 when little Suzuha , has grown up and travels to the year 2010 in a time machine and the timeline changes to Steins Gate and the pair of Suzuhas disappear.
the two suzuha's are not a paradox, whether or not they interact. Paradoxes are impossible in the Steins;gate universe. Kagari and Suzuha in the 2025 worldline actually came from a different potential future, time travelling back and then altering future events enough that the future they came from would not happen. Daru confirms this when Suzuha recieves the Operation Arclight email from the future, stating that he is in a different future than they left from.
It's possible that Okabe died at 18000 BC just because the show says that the time machine can only fit 2, but that doesn't mean it can't fit more. Also, if you compare it to what happened in the original S;G ending it's probable that those 3 or maybe just okabe would have faded out of existence, since that is essentially what happened to Suzuha after they reached Steins;gate
Okabe time travels in 2025 after sending the film for 3 reasons: 1. To go after Suzuha and Mayuri and confirm Steins Gate will happen. If he "saves" them or not. That's left open ended. It could create a paradox so idk. 2. To deceive the world and prevent the convergence that dictates he dies in 2025 3. To prevent Reading Steiner from triggering and bringing him to the Steins Gate Worldline. Basically avoiding overwriting SG WL Okabe
Time for Post-steins;gate depression to kick in. God I just love this series. After that ending scene with Okabe literally being a being surpassing even time itself, Okabe became one of my favorite characters. He doesn't have crazy super powers, but he has an overpowering personality that just exudes unbelievable amounts of charisma, even if what he's saying is nonsense 99% of the time. What a man. I could not even imagine the relief Mayuri and Suzuha felt when Okabe appeared like that to save them. Suzuha especially who only heard of tales of how awesome Okabe is, but never experienced it. Now she did in the most badass way possible. I just love this show... I really do. Even though it's been a decade now, it's still my top anime.
What a journey it has been watching this masterpiece the second time with your reaction this time. Your genuine reactions and insights were refreshing to watch!
Man words cant describe how happy i am to finally see you react to this final episode.Been awaiting ever since your first few steins gate reactions. So excited that you loved the show so much and im definitely looking foward for the movie and your Hacking to the gate solo!!
My theory. Time machine can only bring 2 people. So okarin will have to stay and send the 2 back. So he'll trick the 2 into thinking that he'll try to fix the other time machine while the other 2 getting some help from the future. But they'll find out that they need the exact coordinate timeline in order to rescue okarin but okarin himself don't actually know because he's using timeline tracing to find the other 2 and the trace is gone because he's already using it (like a string that you roll to reach the other end). Okarin left stranded while the other to come back which goes with the original that okarin dies while the other 2 survive in the original years timeline.
I LOVE folks' theories like this. I have been curious about "what about after that?" or the"but, what if this..." one of the big reasons I adore Arifureta, cause we get canon answers, but can always fantasize.
Tho they didn't clarify why Okarin had to die in 2025, while at the same time he was alive in 2036 ? Cuz we know that he is sopposed to be in coma until 2036 Does that mean that is was a conpletly different world line ?

If you watch ep 24 of Steins gate and steins gate 0 side by side you will see due to the screen angle, the camera was on Okabe in season 1 (while they where inside the time machine) and on Mayuri in season 2 (outside the time machine) so there is no doubt that this actually happened in Steins Gate ep 24 (The Last episode). It was an absolutely amazing journey watching your reactions to, what I believe, the best series/anime of all time. I loved to see how you appreciated Steins;Gate for the first time, like I apreciated years ago. You're one of the only people I watch all of your thoughts and opinions on the show, because I can tell how much you enjoyed it. Hope you enjoyed the OVAs too, can't wait to see it.
I have been wanting to comment this for a few episodes, I found you recently and your SG reactions are really one of the best out there for me, because first you make good conjectures and really grasp a lot (at least more than me when I first watched). And also because your reactions truly remind me of the first time I watched SG, which as you can imagine is something most people would love to feel again for the first time In your free time I reaaally suggest you play the visual novels specially SG0, believe me that even if you think you know everything about the story, the visual novel of zero really makes some things very different from the anime so you feel that surprise again. Just to hint, the entire re awake of kyouma happens in such a different context, so the VN is a new experience.
@@RobinoyoReactsbro VN has all the same voice actors so you will feel nostalgia and it's so so so great.. The anime hasn't covered everything... In the VN there is more depth in okarin character and so many more details... Ur missing so much bro
At first I was bummed I couldn't get one that looked like a Metal Upa, which Mayuri was the most happy about. But then I realized the Green Upa actually saved the world, which I guess makes it even more important and special ;D
I was really salty about Moeka and Mr Braun on OG SG as i thought they do not deserved steinsgate wl, same with Mayuri as she's just like a mascot. But then SG0 presented depth on this characters and how crucial they are on reaching SG WL. Steins Gate as a whole franchise is really a MASTERPIECE! It's just kinda sad that it would only by Mayuri coming back to the future as Okabe and Suzuha does not belong to that wl anymore. And it's another Okabe who reached the SG WL. 😢
Mayuri didn't even do anything bad ;-; Okabe decided she didn't deserve to die because how close she was to him. So, Mayuri deserved to live in the steins;gate because how she supports and supported Okabe through out his life. Also what do you mean it would only be Mayuri coming back to the future? Okabe would be the only one staying.
Glad to see you finally finished the whole series. I think you’re right. It’s never going to be the original, but it adds a lot of value to the main show. It makes the main show even better. I wanted to go right back into the universe again but totally recommend waiting. A few years down the line, play the VN. The Elite version is great since it combines the VN with the anime. Such a great series; it probably shares my top spot for best anime with Attack on Titan. Both for very different reasons but it’s absolutely amazing. Nice mix of sci-fi and amazing characters which leads to some of the best character moments. Glad you enjoyed it man!
Thanks man! I gotta tell you coming off of finishing this I felt so unexpectedly depressed for a few days. Like I just didn't wanna let go you know. Immediately looked into the VN's and everything but then I realized exactly what you said, probably better to just wait and dive into them another time. It's been weeks and while I've seen the OVA's, I still gotta check out the movie. Just delaying it as long as I can so I still know I have something to watch from the universe haha.
@@RobinoyoReacts totally man! It’s weird that a show makes you feel so happy and depressed at the same time, but I reckon it’s because the best thing about the show is the characters. You love them so much and when it finishes you don’t really know how to feel because you realise the show is over and you won’t see any new stories here (except the OVAs but they’re not main line stuff) That’s the thing with a good story/film/book/game, you feel like you’re in the universe and when it’s done you just wish you had more time to spend there. But yeah, glad you enjoyed it, excited for the new content you announced recently! I think I mentioned this before but Cyberpunk: EdgeRunners is a great series to watch if you want something quick. Only 10 episodes and so it’s not a slow burner or anything. It’s very different from Steins Gate but in 10 episodes managed to make you feel the same sense of hanging out with the gang that you got with Steins;Gate, but in a very different manner that also has that way of making you feel a bit empty by the end. Less thinking and complex plot but a lot of great music and action and great for a quick watch.
@@RobinoyoReactshaha same... Not just you most people who watched steins gate felt the same way like they don't wanna let go of those precious moments and all characters..
did you realize that i okabe who went back again in the past to save makise after makise slapped him became a second version of okabe. the original okabe is the one who didnt go back again and lived that long in steins gate 0. the okabe who went back to save makise have never experienced the events steins gate 0 okabe has
anyone know where suzuha, mayuri and okabe go after okabe saves them at the end? suzuha cant really go back to 2025 cuz she already exists there as a kid, mayuri could go back there, and okabe is supposed to die, so where tf do they all end up?
the OVA and movie are great. The OVA is a nice epilogue, and the movie is a nice chance to look at steins gate a little more through kurisus perspective, even if some of the time travel rules get kinda messy
Despite Steins;Gate being the better story by far, I love 0 just as much, if not more! I saw your comment saying you'd play both visual novels eventually, but how do you feel about playing the rest of the Science;Adventure VNs? They're all good and I've even heard that Chaos;Child is better than Steins;Gate (tho it's the only main one I have read). Regarding the anime, Robotics;Notes is decent, but the 2 Chaos animes are pretty bad so watch at you own risk lol Also Steins;Gate still has more content to give! There are the IBM sponsored shorts, some interesting CD dramas, and 2 more full VNs that are full of "What Ifs" from other world lines. Plus, there's still some more if your post-S;G depression is really bad! And if you're like me, then you'll still be watching reactions 5 years later... I don't have a problem I SWEAR!
my honest conclusion is that the journey is not as good in Steins;gate 0, but the ending is as good, if not better than Steins;gate. But overall, I enjoyed Steins;gate more, that series is just goated
Wonderful reaction! I recently finished steins gate myself and damn this series was great. And as far as the order of watching the OVA's and movie, the OVA for the original show I believe is canonically the end ep. The movie is as well but if I remember correctly the movie is not cannon as it changes some things. So me personally, I'd watch the steins gate 0 OVA first, then the movie and then the original series OVA. But I could be wrong so anyone feel free to correct me (you prob have already watched them though by thr time this vid came out lol) anyways, great video :)

I love Steins Gate, It's one of my top series of all time. But it has 2 Major faults that hurt the enjoyment of the series for me. #1: How much of a perverterd creep Daru is towards everything feminine with a heartbeat, even his own daughter & Nae.... *(A CHILD!)* & his interest in Loli's is concerning. #2: Despite how bleak & oppressive the future in Steins Gate 0 is Feyris completely throws the atmosphere out the window by acting like a role-player at a cosplay event. The "Nyan Nyan Moe Moe Kyuuuuu" stuff does not fit the serious atmosphere that the show tries to convey in the dystopian future where people are dying. "Ruka is Dying oh No Nyan~" These are the 2 things I would change about the series if I had the power. I can only imagine the series would have a lot more recommendations if Daru wasn't so non family friendly.

Okabe decided she didn't deserve to die because how close she was to him.
You love them so much and when it finishes you don’t really know how to feel because you realise the show is over and you won’t see any new stories here (except the OVAs but they’re not main line stuff)
That’s the thing with a good story/film/book/game, you feel like you’re in the universe and when it’s done you just wish you had more time to spend there.
@@RAGEAlanBun I'll make sure to look into it! Only heard great things about it.
@@RobinoyoReactshaha same... Not just you most people who watched steins gate felt the same way like they don't wanna let go of those precious moments and all characters..
😭😭😭😭😭 a beautiful end
did you realize that i okabe who went back again in the past to save makise after makise slapped him became a second version of okabe. the original okabe is the one who didnt go back again and lived that long in steins gate 0. the okabe who went back to save makise have never experienced the events steins gate 0 okabe has
Underrated Masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!
a masterpiece ✨
anyone know where suzuha, mayuri and okabe go after okabe saves them at the end? suzuha cant really go back to 2025 cuz she already exists there as a kid, mayuri could go back there, and okabe is supposed to die, so where tf do they all end up?
Finally it's here
the OVA and movie are great. The OVA is a nice epilogue, and the movie is a nice chance to look at steins gate a little more through kurisus perspective, even if some of the time travel rules get kinda messy
👀 Steins;Gate visual novel readers upon hearing Nae 👀
I really hope you play the visual novel of at least Steins gate 0.
With no Mayuri, or Kurisu, my head-canon is that Okabe made Maho his default waifu in the future.
Nobody will convince me otherwise.
Regarding the anime, Robotics;Notes is decent, but the 2 Chaos animes are pretty bad so watch at you own risk lol
Also Steins;Gate still has more content to give!
But I could be wrong so anyone feel free to correct me (you prob have already watched them though by thr time this vid came out lol) anyways, great video :)
awesome!! 😭 ♥

シュタインズゲートのシナリオは完璧です。映画はそれほど良いものでは無かったですが
You are very perceptive. Love you mate. SG0 for me is better thsn SG. My most fav
For me, the two greatest endings in anime are Attack on Titan, and of course this one. The show managed to end the series in the perfect way,
I love Steins Gate, It's one of my top series of all time.
"Ruka is Dying oh No Nyan~"
These are the 2 things I would change about the series if I had the power.
I can only imagine the series would have a lot more recommendations if Daru wasn't so non family friendly.
