I did Cape Mays walking tour. I enjoyed it very much so it was quite spectacular. One of the homes we went in the owner spoke about how they how they put lite candles on their trees and houses were catching on fire. At the time the closest fire department was in Camden. Fire trucks had to journey from Camden to Cape May to put the fires out and had no highways to make trip faster. I wanted to ask the home owner why they couldn't use ocean water to put them out but I didn't. Hehe I was walking out one of the homes I believe it was a gingerbread style home with a front porch as I was walking out the door I looked up and a horse drawn carriage was passing by and for one second it felt like I was living in the Victorian era. It was amazing. Everyone should visit Cape May NJ its beautiful!!
Looks fantastic Joey awesome job as always one these days I will visit thre during Christmas season &merry Christmas to you and your wife&family &happy new year hope c u on beach summer of 2023
Thank you for this beautiful video. Cape May was very forward thinking. Back in the 60's when we vacationed in Wildwood, Mom always made sure we spent a day in Cape May. As huge Victorian hotels in Atlantic City got th wrecking ball, Cape May was saving their architecture. So beautifully decorated for the holidays. Happy New Year
Thank you so much for your video. We will be in Newark this December for two nights and three days. I was born and currently live in Hawaii. Being on the east coast during winter, more people would instead want to come here during the winter months. Hawaii has its uniqueness. During a single day, I boogie-boarded (sliding down a short slope) on a snow-capped volcano in the morning and paddled a canoe in Hilo Bay in the afternoon. As I digress, we plan to head to NYC to visit a few spots. We also plan to visit Cape May. I did not realize it was so charming and homey. It reminds me of Quebec City. We will be spending more time in Cape May during our trip. I will be sure to visit those shops in Washington Mall before 5:00 pm. I always believe in supporting the local economy. Thank you again for your video and narration-Aloha from Hawaii.🙂🤙
Nice tour, Joey! I really wish that Cape May Seashore Lines (the train) was still around. Just imagine if they had Polar Express steam engine rides from Cape May to Tuckahoe or Winslow Junction. I can only guess that would be a great attraction!
we were SO DISAPPOINTED in the parade. there were so many large gaps of time. We heard they had judges doing their thing with some groups which caused the delays. Saw many families with small kids get really upset and left. They need to do a better job keeping things flowing...if they want to judge, do it at the very end or very beginning, NOT during. glad we were able to get to WW and see the Tram Car float. THAT WAS UNREAL!
Thanks for enduring the cold to bring this wonderful Christmas tour. I've always wanted to see what Cape May looked like during Christmas. I gotta make a trip down there someday soon!
My wife and I checked off a bucket list item by staying at Mason Cottage for the Christmas Parade. We walked the entire town and loved every minute of it. Had lunch at the Blue Pig in Congress hall. Weather rainy a bit but it didnt stop anyone from having a great time. Went up to WW to visit the decor and it was AMAZING. Great job Joey. See you on the beach soon. I do have 1 question, now that my knees are shot, wondering if there are any restrictions to using an electric bike or scooter on the boardwalk while the kids/grandkids ride their bikes in the morning? Thanks
Can’t believe he didn’t show entrance of ingress hall or even tell people where he was. He also didn’t show the gorgeous entrance or amazing fireplace in the bar room. He also didn’t explain themBLUE PIG IS THE NAME of the restaurant in Congress Hall.
I was there Tuesday through Friday and I agree. I have come down for the past five years during the Christmas season and I really feel there were a lot less people there.

He also has not shown many other beautiful places especially the Ohysic mansion are, probably spelled it wrong.

You are correct,no one wants to talk about it but there has been a huge drop.
He left a lot out.
we showed many of those other ones in our 2021 video. I change it every year
