my 5th year back tokyo ghoul never gets old this timeless anime is peak fiction its music is only an aspect a mere segmant of the care put into the anime. The story beats of the manga hit so hard to this day.

The best anime of my life and the first. I'm saw this anime in 2015-2016 and still like it. Best music, best emotions, best characters and a lot of other stuff. And I want this anime to continue even though it's already over.

Tokyo Ghoul is an underrated anime that needs to be remade from season 2 onwards❤
Here in 2024. Listeining coz my Grandfather died..... Yesterday night at 76 yrs old or so.
Call me cold, but I stared at his lifeless body while feeling very little effect... Some could argue that it's emotional resilience, while others call me heartless.
But i just don't know. I witnessed the nurses trying to save him... And i didn't fully realize he was gone untill my family around me with him then all stared silently at him.
I felt his pulse, and was left with a mushy feeling on his hand like his flesh was playdough. To think he was just with us a few minutes earlier.
The reality of how fragile the human body is and that death can happen in an instant struck me like i was an idiot. It doesn't matter how many martial arts you learn or how high your network grows, we'll all return to the same place in the end.
Maybe I'm older now so I feel less emotions with it.
My brain is struggling to view his body as another inanimate object, since I've seen him walk, talk, and smile for about 19 yrs now since I was born. He was always around. To think a year ago he was happy, healthy and walking, as if he could live for another 10 years.
... Guess it was all a front to make us believe he's still strong so we won't worry.
He tells us of his visions. He sees dreams that our decendents will do space explorations. He calls it a prophecy from God for the work he has done on this earth. And he's done a lot. A lot of people showed up at the funeral (today). People whom I had no idea he had connections to.
They all said he was a kind and good man, he helped them a lot in the past. I beleive them. I've lived with him long enough to know that.
I don't care if his visions are dilusional or not, I'll put my weak amd limited human effort into bringing them to reality, even if only by an inch.
Not sure if i need therapy, but am here since this anime was the first one that made me cry from back when I was 14. That was 5 years ago.
Feels kinda terrible that I'm trying to make myself feel intense emotions from an old anime, instead of letting it happen naturally.
Don't know why I'm sharing this, but since no one knows who I am, I guess its fine.
Wish me luck on space exploration, and stay safe everyone. We don't know the gift of life until it's gone.

My mother died Infront of me. I held her in my arms. I begged her to wake up. It's been a year since then.
I still hear her calling my name. Sometimes in the morning for breakfast. The world is a tiny tiny place. These ppl that u love will remind u of that every time, they leave for good. Perhaps I too now wait to be a reminder for someone else. Such is life and such is death.
@GurudaGuruda been doing alright. Went to Bury him and everything over the last month. Funeral ceremonies are kind of long from my culture

All I can say is that the loss of people in our lives acts as a buffer to help us appreciate each person, animals, instances, objects, moments, time, reality, and our own existences even more.
Not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but I guess it's a hard lesson in life that leaves a bittersweet taste that stays for the rest of our lives.
