Goodness why did they use a 7-pin plug like that instead of a USCAR inline connector that most modern pickups have?
It’s for quick removal, and to hold the push button for the strobe effect which is attached to that plug.
We do plan to offer a version in line for the rear as well soon where you can choose either. However, we may need to attach the button to the cord of the light with that one.
@@jtrischler gotcha, I suppose that works but boy is it out there. An inline connector splice and separate button that can be mounted somewhere would really clean up the look. Give it a quick disconnect connector too, and it can be just as easily removed (just tuck the connector up behind the bumper or something).
