Lexus Paint Failed After 9 yrs-$12,000

Many white cars from the late 2000’s to late 2010’s have defective white paint across different brands. They are peeling early due to possible UV exposure. Be wary of buying used and if you own one that is not peeling yet, park in a garage/wax and cross your fingers.

This problem seems to have started when manufactures switched to water base paint. So many things from manufactured products like LG refrigerators to medicines like COVID vaccines to auto white paint problems (which some manufactures have addressed ) . Seems like from asbestos to lead paint its very sad that this is the kind of world we live in. It doesn't seem to be changing for the better.
