Great video 👏 I love the look of double signed Grand Seikos, and it helps that they're usually much cheaper than their single signed (if that's the right term) counterparts 😅 My pick would be the SBGA085, inky back dial, spring drive, 39mm case, well under £2,000 🤯
As a GS owner SBGA413 shun bun, the problem with GS watches is the bracelet not as well fitted, dont get me wrong probably the most beautiful dials they make and amazing innovative spring drive movement but can never perfect what the real buyers want a comfortable tapered fitted bracelet so thats why I had to change to a premium blue leather strap ❤
The older dual logo SBGX models like the SBGX061 is virtually identical to the current production model of the SBGX261 (the only difference being the 2 logos instead of 1). Those ones especially the champagne dial SBGX063 are a better deal because it's around the $1k mark and far newer in both design and movement (There is currently a listing of the SBGX063 on Chrono24 for ¥120,000 ~ $790 USD with full box and papers).
I got my SBGX061 (dated 2015) for 1.2k USD from a shop in Japan. honestly it was a mega steal as the owner kept all the handtags & papers. Watch is also in pristine condition as he only wore it 2-3 times. Unreal deal tbh. Would recommend double signed GS for aspiring collectors :)
You can try too sbgx005 affordable 9f movement. Full set 880€ for me. Or sbgs003 full set 650€ for me. Affordable vintage quartz grand seiko are great. Maybe one day grand seiko stop quartz. It's a high probability. Buy still you can.
Except the SARB is mechanical and this Grand Seiko is not. I'm confused why your watch has so much patina? 20 years doesn't seem enough time to get that much patina.
Ha that's a fair point. I'm curious myself and it seems like this particular model, and some other SBGF's from the same era suffer from "earlier" signs of patina. My guess is some people just don't baby their watches enough.. Thanks for watching!

I just purchased a sbgx095 and love it. The 9F movement is just something special.
can't wait for your reviews of a spring drive and a hibeat when you get them :) GS dials are nice, but their movements are nicer.
I’m still saving towards my grail grand seiko
Which model are you planning on picking up?:) so many great options with GS!
Yea, what's the grail?

1K for the older SBGX sound like an amazing deal, I'll be on the look out.

Waittttt, this exists????? This looks soo cool 😎
Beautiful watch and looks very nice with that light brown leather strap. Can you share the details on that 18mm strap? What brand is it?
Hey mate, not sure where you live but search up "Saffiano Leather", that's the style you're looking for.
Thank for watching!

There is nothing reasonable about that price.
