Both example 7 and 8 begin with quaver/eighth notes, but number 7 is a more more predictable rhythm perhaps because it stops crotchet/quarter notes: "ti ti ta, ti ti ti ti, ta, ti ti ta". Perhaps 8 is more challenging for you because it has more quavers and then changes to crotchet notes at the end? "ti ti, ti ti, ti ti ta, ta ta ta-a" Hope that helps. 🙂
