  • Things we did this week:
Took a bus from Albion to Port Louis to Bel Ombre
Ate at a food truck that was originally a school bus
Went for a run on the beautiful waterfront from Bel Ombre to Baie du Cap
    Walked along the beach
Took buses and hitch-hiked to Black River Gorges National Park
    Climbed to the highest peak
Hitch-hiked to Chamarel and didn't have a ticket to enter.
    Found a way
    Was unimpressed by Chamarel
    Hitch-hiked back
Akdi explored a sugar cane processing factory that was converted into a museum

    Fried noodles is my choice
Didn't know there was a friendly trail to Black River Peak... sounds easy
Chamarel colors changes depending on the season, the weather conditions and luminosity. By the picture, it looks nothing out of the ordinary but there are times you can see the contrasting colors deeper and it's then magnificent
