Hi Betsy! Hopefully we were able to show what you might of missed. Thanks for volunteering at the show and we will look forward to next year or seeing you down the road.
45 flushes for 65$. Beats having to find a clean public bathroom on the road, and especially out in the wilderness. I like it. Just wish they used bio degradable materials instead of plastic that will take a thousand years to decompose.
Ok so that’s solid waste. What happens when you gotta pee, too? Yes, I saw the “solidifier” too, but do you have to stand around waiting it to solidify?
Thanks for watching! From what we understand the solidification is instantaneous. Up until recently, fighter pilots used the same material when the had to go (the Piddle Packs).
Thanks for watching! No doubt that the cost is a big downside - both the initial outlay and the solid waste cost per flush. I think the advantage is being able to use it multiple times without any smell. He's sold 10,000 units in the last two years so someone is buying them...
@@LuvSubbin the liner bag looks similar to the WAG bag that a lot of National Parks use for hikers waste. The Ranger Station gives you the bag to do your business in and you dispose of it after your hike.
There are many variables that this depends on. 1 major factor would be if you pee with the poo. Pee has a ton of weight to it, but I don't recommend peeing in this toilet for some very unfortunate reasons.

Finally, a video that shows the mechanism! Its 2am. I can sleep now. Thanks LS!
Thanks for watching and we are happy to provide you with a sound sleep.
I heard about the dry flush toilet but never had a chance to see it. Too busy volunteering. Great video!

Thanks for watching! Yes, it is certainly a niche product. I think it does well on boats which have limited pump out facilities.
Anyone else just hear John Goodman when the guy in the white shirt speaks
Nice way to end a work week. Thanks for sharing an interesting idea.
Thanks Mike! It was an interesting product but a waste of a good cupcake.

@@LuvSubbin dang this whole system has to be pricey
Very cool! 😎
Thanks for watching!
$785? Why not just make one with a bucket, garbage bags and peetmoss or saw dust for $35? :-)

You ever price out a composting toilet system?
cause that would just be pooping in a bag
Interesting!
Thanks for watching as always!

Great concept. I wonder how much 15 flushes weigh?
Thanks for watching! I think the weight of 15 flushes would depend upon your diet. Vegan flushes would certainly weigh less.
@@LuvSubbin This makes no sense. Please fact check before you say things like this.

@@LuvSubbin nice try, lol.
😂 - expensive, it creates lot of plastic waste.
Same good as square wheel.
Good points. They sell a lot of these for boats were dumping overboard is illegal and pump outs not always available.
