Whenever I see some of the stuff out on the curbs that you pass over, I always see them as refurbishment opportunities that would actually bring in more income with a little time invested in them. I'm not talking about the sand it down and paint it one color refurbishment kind of project. If you have the talent, and the time, old windows, mirrors, pots, furniture, etc, can be hand painted with landscape scenery, flowers, animals, etc. My grandma was a artist without much money, so she used what she had. She created beautiful pieces of art by painting a landscape scenery on the glass panes of a old window frame, animals or boats on old barn board shutters, a unfolding landscape scene on a old privacy screen. People love the one of a kind pieces that this creates. My hands itch to transform some of these pieces. You're inspiring me, Taco!
I would have grabbed that "primitive" bench. Some nice lady would have bought that to put on her lawn with pumpkins, mums and bales of straw around it for Halloween. Just sayin'.
Hey Taco! Another great video!!! You did it again! 😀😀😀 We're both luvin' those 2 cast-iron stove pieces you grabbed. Over here those would go straight into the flower garden to let nature grow around them. Super funny guy with the whole admiring the house you'll never afford bit.. hahahahaha 😆😆😆 Sorry to see you dent you van like that with the bench. As always.. another thumbs up from us bud, and CHEERS!
Hey, I just found the identical park bench ends in a dumpster during one of my videos a couple weeks back (the one with the Sony PS Vita thumbnail) and i have heard that you can probably can get about $50 for just the metal ends at your flea market scene!! Nice video by the way...action style is good! 😀
Typical garbage picking takes roughly 2-4 hours, gas bill is around $25 a week for the van to haul me back and forth to the flea market, once back and forth to an auction, one scrap run and once for garbage picking.
Hey Taco love you videos Man now I'm interested in doing scrapping and garbage picking myself to make extra money since I'm retired I just want to know why did you buy you a new van instead of buying you a new truck cuz I know you had a van broke down on you I'm trying to decide if I should get a truck or a van
check that table frame - if its good go get or find a piece of scrap 3/4 plywood and unscrew the old top from the frame and put the new on -- that frames worth the effort to reuse for flea market.
Somebody would have bought those Chipotle cloth bags. Cloth buys can sell for $0.50 a piece and they're pretty light and at flea markets people realize they need a bag once there they are so they'd probably buy one from you anyway

Hey taco, have you ever bought a storage locker?
I haven't found any free treasures in forever. Free yard tools? I have to pay at least $5 at the flea.
How long is your typical garbage picking route, and how large is your gas bill per week strictly from garbage picking?
Typical garbage picking takes roughly 2-4 hours, gas bill is around $25 a week for the van to haul me back and forth to the flea market, once back and forth to an auction, one scrap run and once for garbage picking.
A dehumidifier without the bucket can be directly drained using a hose. Most have that connection feature.
Lots of comments today. Keep up the good work!
Those plaques look like something they put their trashcan on top of.

You should be able to sell the bench for parts if the iron isn't broken

I usllay check dehumidifiers if there on a recall list. Just have to send in the serial number and cut the cord and you usually get $160

The table, can you not put an old sheet on it, when you are setting up at flea market, then you'd have another table.
