Telling from my interaction with Supreme Mega Star Waheed Murad and following him as a diehard fan since I was a class 5th student , I have to say in all honesty and sincerity that Waheed was the handsomest, smartest, most stylish, energetic, mercurial , charismatic , chic, suave , dapper , trendy and classy personage and an artist beyond comparison . He was the most versatile, hugely accomplished and highly celebrated mega star who had his own distinct and distinguished trademark Waheed Murad style of acting and song picturization. He didn't copy Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor like some of his contemporary actors . A versatile actor like him neither came before him , nor in his lifetime , nor will one come to emulate him in the years to come ! Though she was saved , yet the matter was kept secret as per Pushtoon traditions. All these huge properties worth billions of rupees were owned by his father and ultimately Waheed. Nisar Murad Sahab was a most prominent and wealthy film distributor of Indo Pak, hailing from a highly respected and rich family of Sialkot ! Unlike many of his co actors , Waheed never had a craving to accumulate wealth. His only passion was acting and producing quality films to please his fans and satisfy his urge . Being a role model and epitome of positivity and love , Waheed never felt jealous of others' wealth or fame nor did he brook any malice even against his worst and meanest haters . Being a highly intelligent , sensitive and perceptive man , Waheed knew all the hypocrits and creeps of the film industry inside out , INCLUDING HIS CO- ACTORS, ACTRESSES , DIRECTORS AND STORY WRITERS , and in particular those who posed to be his best friends and flatteringly learnt and copied the nuances of acting and song picturization from him, yet devilishly and disgracefully conspired against him and did his character assassination most shamelessly towards toppling him from the top position and getting the films that were being offered to him so profusely. While the magnanimous WAHEED MURAD did maintain his glacial cool , he was definitely hurt to the core and fell prey to severe depression and related ailments that proved too fatal for him . He ultimately passed away to his heavenly abode with a cardiac arrest at the age of 45 in the prime of his youth like Elvis Presley. May Allah Almighty shower His choicest blessings upon Super Star Waheed Murad in heaven.
