The thing about BDS is that if ANY of them leave, it just won't be the same. The chemistry between Bob, Joey, and FP is special and genuine, and each bring their own thing to the table. Bob knows what he has and is willing to give up some of his own stake to keep it together.
I could do without Cold Cuts. He's supposed to be comic relief but he's not funny.

Ensuring Joey and FP have equity in BDS early on is a smart move. The longer they wait the more difficult it is to come to an agreement on what's a fair share. It's clear the value they both bring to the brand.

Mr. Short Game, I think it’s really smart that people are asking “how much money do you make”. You don’t have to be specific with your answer, but instead provide a range. That gives people enthusiasm to pursue a goal if they know there is a possibility of obtaining a livable wage. Wage transparency should be a real thing. It opens people’s minds to possibilities.
I think the thing people forget with BDS versus a brand like good good per say, is that Cuts, FP, and Bob, all came from the corporate world. Cuts was a GM at a Michelin star restaurant, Bob was in hospitality, Perez came from the business world too. These guys know how to prosper and maximize their revenue, where as good good started off as a group of kid’s essentially, that had to learn how to create revenue outside of RUclips. Just food for thought
Even still, Bob did say he makes about 3-4k per DAY on cameo alone… that’s insane.

Bob handled himself great during that interview. He talked about the Jersey Jerry connection during, and I think he doesn't want to run into anything similar to that with cold cuts and FB. Which is awesome, smart, and benefits everyone. Bob is the best and seems like a genuine awesome dude.
Under normal life circumstances you don't ask what people make, but with RUclips everybody is so curious to have an idea wht RUclips's make

The old-fashioned norm of discretion around income and money only serves the interest of (discriminatory) employers and greedy capitalists. It's a good thing that it's going by the wayside...
That said, she didn't miss a beat or call Bobby out. So sweet. I love Bob and clearly he was being honest but misspoke.

Nothing cringe about asking a public figure how much they make when they actively take $$support from followers. No problem with it at all.

@@georgespalding7640 again, this is someone for whom a portion of their income comes from supporters paying a monthly subscription to their patreon. I might have limited resources with which to support content creators. If I found out one of those creators was making more than enough money without me, I might choose to take those limited dollars to another creator who I know could use my money more.
Transparency is a good thing. This attitude of secrecy around money only does 2 things:
(1) Protect overly rich people from the embarrassment of them making more than they deserve being public knowledge.
(2) create an assymetry of information which disadvantages workers fighting for more.
This attitude of secrecy around income will die with the boomers. And that's a good thing.
All I got to say, is all those hours of playing, practice, while I was in School…. Why didn’t I think of filming? But of course, there was none of this technology
The interview show is about money so asking should be expected. As for people in general asking how much a RUclipsr makes, people asking it probably are daydreaming about doing it themselves. Any other job, people can look online and get an idea of what it pays. Finally beyond that, eveyone knows exactly how much a pro football, baseball player makes. They know exactly how much LIV golfers signed for. They know the exact prize money of each position of a PGA tournament, etc.

Asking people how much they make helps people know what their worth is and ensures employers aren’t low balling them. As long as it’s coming from a good place I see nothing wrong at all asking that question.
All that means is that it's probably 8 figures and even the very low end of that isn't bad at all.

I don’t see what the issue is asking ppl what they make. I’ve been a Government employee for a long time. Anyone can pull up our pay grade and see how much we make.

Nobody's business what somebody makes. RUclipsrs income is always a big mystery because there's so many variables involved. If someone doesn't want to talk about it that's their own business. There's a lot of reasons why you would not disclose your income.

I'm a little frustrated with the click-bait title of the video. I get the fact that Bob made a mistake during his interview, but you didn't even take a guess based on your research ... which the titled implied you would.

Dude you gotta know more about YT than this. BDS would do multiples of the revenue you do. You’re thinking of YT revenue only. Their audience is much more engaged and the do a lot of gambling sponsorships which is where the real money is. It’s not 9 figures but I’d bet it’s 8 figures.

I think he was so taken back by her audacity of asking how much money he makes that he threw out an insanely large number just to spite her. He then went home and realized there might be consequences to him saying he makes 9 figures and decided to delete it. 🤷🏻♂️

I can get your point @mrshortgame but Bob is public figure,she said he doesn't have to answer and i am sure potential content creators want to know what money different niches can bring, what kind of deals do they get. So i don't really see a problem there especially because it was so open ended question he had chance simply say: we are doing okay or we make exactly that much and anything in between. So i have to disagree on that one
Im not the type to ask someone how much they make either.... buuuut... for someone who doesnt make youtube content but watches alot of it... i am curious how much certain channels make on it, given their subscribers and views... at least a ball park... might help me or someone decide if they should try it? Certainly people dont go to a job interview without a ballpark estimate on how much it pays? I feel like its good knowlege.
