That's a lovely portrait. It captures them very well. Far from being a "power" portrait, it's very dignified, yet relaxed, approachable and warm.

Catherine is just gorgeous in this portrait. The emerald green dress she’s wearing is so vibrant and beautiful also. However William’s face looks hardened and aged at least a decade older than his years. He has a much more youthful face which the painting did not capture. Lovely job on Catherine. William looks 50.

It is a lovely double portrait. The artist captured their likeness and it is a flattering picture of them. The Duke looked very dapper, and Catherine, gosh, that woman's beauty and elegance is unparalled. In terms of coloring, it's not quite at the level of Sargent, but the sheen on the Duchess dress is very well executed.
I'm just so glad we're not getting William crouching behind Catherine, posing as her hairdresser, gluing fake extension to her hair. With added photoshoped hair on him.

She's standing strong and tall and so is she, looking outward at the battles they face and the challenges and the expectations put on them, but Together as a team, stronger and confident and comfortable (William is proud and Catherine looks comfortable in her role as wife and mother and leader.. it's hard to word so briefly but as an artist I just get it). It's so beautiful

Rewatching this can’t get over this is actually a painting,he mastered Catherine and William and even got her makeup right shades as well. You’d think it was a photo it’s amazing. Hats of to the painter who did this it’s totally breath taking. I hope the same guy gets to paint the queen last pics he’s a top guy for it,well done sir

Yessss and if you look down from above you can see that their chins are matched exactly the same with their smiles, body experts would say their in sync with each other. Kate's eyes are very soft but dark and that to me would mean protection because the softness reaches the corners of her mouth but her eyes stay just that little bit dark like she's saying to the word "you can't break us".... God I love body language!! 😍

I will use the word " Stunning " to describe this portrait. The artist captured the essence of Willian and Catherine ideally in this portrait.
My Grand daughter adores Kate and now insists my wife makes the same dresses Kate wears.
Now whenever we help at the food bank my grand daughter insists on riding her pony and wearing Kate’s dresses! The food bank patrons absolutely adore my grand daughter and they always bow and curtsy when she rides her pony to help them.

I loved the reaction of the children outside. Children are the same all over the world. Innocent and sincere. Reminds me how we're all just grown children, we need to remember to hold on to that kind of sincerity. The portrait was well done.
